I have been on Spectrum for 3 years now, even though I have a choice of 3 ISPs at my home. Speed is consistent and reasonably close to advertised speed, occasionally exceeding the promised speed. I have experienced very few outages. Tech support is very good. They provide a good antivirus and their web site does a speed test upon request. My one complaint is about their email server. I've had difficulty using it and they provided me with several email IDs on different servers. One is required for billing and a different one for technical support. This is confusing, but I use a third email ID on Google mail for all my actual correspondence (except with Spectrum). A plus is they have twice increased my internet speed at no increase in cost. A downside is they charge extra if you want a modem/router that supports WiFi. The one they provide is not state-of-the-art, either. I use my own WiFi router that I purchased. Their "default" router only has one ethernet port so I need my own ethernet switch, as well.

I have honestly not had a better ISP than Spectrum. We used Spectrum, formerly Time Warner, for almost 15 years for cable, internet and phone services and never once had a complaint about service. Speed, consistently and always reliable. If it were available in our new home area I would definitely still be a customer. If I had to list a con it would be getting ahold of an actual human when contacting customer support but it was a rare occasion that we had to anyways.

Horrible and rude customer service!! They keep increasing your monthly bill and when you call to talk to customer support, they make you feel like you’re not welcome with us anymore and you can cut your service with us now. No matter how long you have been with them.

Absolutely terrible, the internet is slow and almost everyday I have to restart the the router and modem until my home devices connect. I call the isp and they say everytime well everything on our end looks good, they send someone and charge $100 for them to come take a look nothing seems to be the problem. But nothing ever stays connected and even my pc is hardwired to the damn thing, there's no service. The only thing they offer is to increase my speeds for another $20-$30. Not only that they're charging me up the wall with the internet and yet offering the same services at lower prices and I can't change my services to the cost of what they're offering. I want to change but no one is offering the same speeds in my area.

In a nutshell, and to put it quite simply, Spectrum is terrible. For the past 3 weeks , my internet has gone down every night for 2 -5 hours per night. During a few of those nights, my service was down twice in one night. It makes things hard for me because I work remotely. Their customer service is horrible and rude. I live in an apartment complex that requires us to use only spectrum. Otherwise, I would not be complaining, I would have just dumped them. The one star that I gave them was being generous. I wish that I could have given zero stars, because that is truly what I believe that they deserve.😡

I have internet outages approximately once every two weeks for about 5 hours. About three months ago, I had an outage for two days. As I am in medical school, this disrupts my study schedule. When I called customer service, they said they refunded me for the one day without service (which is probably like 1 dollar). Gee, thanks for that...... I have consistently used all my data for the month during these outages. I finally got so fed up with it the service outages that I switched providers and asked to be refunded for the weeks of service that I did not use. They don't even have the decency to do that. They clearly do not care at all about providing their customers with "reliable" service or ensuring customer satisfaction.

I’m so fed up with S’pectrum their internet service truly is awful as well as the cable service which is tied to the internet. I have no speed the internet freezes my tablet, TV, laptops and iPhones. No matter how much I call in and complain nothing gets resolved even when they send inexperienced tech into my home. I pay so much monthly and I have no idea what I am paying for. I’ continue to be extremely disappointed with Spectrum. Also their Customer Service reps are beyond rude.

Speeds widely fluctuate and rarely ever reach the cap we pay for. My wife and I both work from home and from time to time we'll just have a massive lag that interrupts our meetings. It's also extremely expensive compared to what other companies are offering in our area, we just don't have any other options in our neighborhood. Customer service has never been responsive and they usually are busy trying to upsell us on other products.

I pay 166 a month for cable and internet, plus an additional 60 in other services not provided by Spectrum. Programs frequently freeze and system has to be restarted. Phone service is bundled - poor data plan, customer service at local store is very poor. When contract ends in two months will be switching to other providers & will never recommend Spectrum.

Delivers speed generally at or above promised. Every evening someone with, what I can only assume a huge backup, slows speed down to a trickle though it recovers eventually. Generally streaming has no issues. I have a choice of providers but I’m happy with the service.

Although I know lots of people have doubts about Spectrum, I can say I have been happy with them. We have our internet (which was coming in and out) with other companies and spectrum took the time to find the problem, fix it and haven't had any problems since then.

I am conflicted. The internet speed is decent but for home phone, internet and basic cable it's almost $190 per month. That's crazy. I called and if I take off the tv access I'll save almost $100. So that's what I'll probably do. They have priced themselves out of my league and I'll get one of the services offered online. Shoot for what I'm saving I could get a few service.

Only been screwed over and over by spectrum. Started service at one address, was there for a week. I went with spectrum for the price. It was 29.99 for 400 mbps. Decide to move to a different apartment as the first was filthy. Call the transfer service, they advised I’d get the same service at the same price. I was on the phone for an hour trying to get it set up. Finally someone just made a new account. I said sure, as I wanted off the phone and I have no idea how their systems work. Anyway, I call back as it wasn’t working when I tried to set up. I was on the phone for over 4 hours that evening. Finally the guy advised me of my bill being 44.99. I said no I signed up for 29.99, he said no you didn’t. Anyway I was really upset about the price as I was getting screwed. My new account was only 200 mbps for 44.99. So 15 more dollars and 200 mbps slower. Real cool as a new customer. Finally the guy decides that someone has to come out and fix my router to get it to work. So the earliest someone was available was Tuesday at 6 pm, three days from now. So I go 3 days in a new apartment with no WiFi. Finally 6 pm on Tuesday, the guy is here. I wait and decided to call and was guaranteed he’d be there by 7. I get a call at 6:55 and they said the guy was running 2 hours behind and would be able to come till 9. NINE PM AT NIGHT! So I said screw it im desperate to get it hooked up, I’ll wait. Finally he shows at 9:30 and he was friendly, but figured out that he needs in my apartments cable closet. He couldn’t get into it as the maintenance men leave at 8. Soooo he calls to reschedule, the soonest someone could come was SATURDAY AT 3. I had no option. He apologized and told me to call customer care to get the week credited back, which I did. So I wait a whole week with out WiFi. Finally the comes and takes him two hours to set it up because he got “lost” between buildings. So he advised upon the situation that I should have received the same pricing for moving. He advised I call. I call and explain the situation to two or three times to a rep. He tries to tell me I’m getting the best deal ever. However I kept saying I’m pay 15 dollars more for a lesser service. Finally he understood and sent me to retention. I spoke with Aubrey M. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. He constantly kept talking over me and would get louder if I tried to explain. Had no desire to try and solve the problem. I was trying to explain it to him again, and he interrupts and I continue to try talking and he gets louder to where I had to start yelling to ask him if he’d let me finish. He kept saying that what I was explaining isn’t true because they don’t offer that. Finally I forwarded him an email confirmation of my order. Suddenly believes me as if he’s known the whole time. And says he’ll see what he can do and just abruptly puts me on hold. Finally he said they’ll give me 400 mbps as he sees where I had the promotion at the previous address. But they couldn’t lower the price. At this point I was upset and decided I’d start looking for a new provider. So I’ve been looking around. However today I get someone in the mail from spectrum about an exclusive offer for my address of 400 mbps for 29.99. Hmmm. So I call and explain the issue and she is searching etc. gets the account and said they don’t have a plan for 29.99. The rep had no clue what I was talking about, yet I literally had a letter from spectrum. She made me read the letter to her before she believed me. Finally I explained the situation and she tried to see what she could do. Ended up saying they can’t do anything better, sorry. So I advised I’d be switching providers as I’ve just been screwed too many times. And she said okay, well when you need help doing that call back. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I can get google fiber for cheaper than my 50 dollar bill with spectrum.

Outage in my area that did not affect me but Charter techs took my business service down without warning. When I spoke with one of the techs onsite, he was very rude and arrogant stating “we don’t have to let any customer know that we are taking down their service”. He wasn’t wearing a badge so I did not get his name. Although you may not be “required” to notify your customers...it would be nice if you considered your business customers. We were in the middle of conducting business and it didn’t matter to these individuals. A simple “we apologize” would have went a long way. It’s called customer service Charter....you may want to try it some day! Please remember, your technicians represent your company. If I treated my customers like your tech treated me, I wouldn’t have any customers!

Three calls to their tech's were required to fix a problem that shut down all services, internet, phone and TV. It was only after all the neighbors complained about the same problem that it was fixed. Only a few days later the Spectrum supplied virus program labeled the Spectrum(Charter) Email program as harmful. The work around is easy but the problem still exist.

Regrettably, my experience with Spectrum.com has been far from satisfactory. The website's performance is plagued by frustratingly slow speeds, making simple tasks a time-consuming ordeal. Browsing through plans, managing accounts, and accessing support resources often result in sluggish loading times and unresponsiveness, causing unnecessary frustration. Furthermore, the pricing on Spectrum.com leaves much to be desired. The costs associated with their services are disproportionately high, especially considering the lackluster performance. Monthly bills quickly add up, leaving customers feeling overcharged for the quality of service provided. In an age where reliable and affordable internet access is crucial, Spectrum.com fails to meet expectations. The combination of slow website speeds and exorbitant prices makes it difficult to justify choosing Spectrum as a service provider. For a more seamless and cost-effective experience, exploring alternative options may prove to be a wiser choice.

Prices seem to be a little high and your monthly bill will definitely go up after a certain amount of time so keep that in mind but if price is not an option, you get good service I would recommend spectrum just make sure to read the fine print because sometimes things are too good to be true.

I like spectrum better than any other cable company. only thing is that they dont tell you about any of the things that they charge you for upfront like installation and that you have to have a certain type of tv or a roku unit because they dont give you a cable box anymore. They charge you the absolute most for services that you dont use or actually need. I called after i received my first bill and had to demand they remove charges that i was never told about or that i didnt want. Now i pay $30 month for the fastest internet service you can get!!!

For the longest time we couldn't use our DVR to record shows. Pause or fast forward would work either. They finally sent a worker to my house to try to fix the issue. It did for a few hours then right back to not working. I believe it's a problem at the pole and we have told them that, but they haven't fixed it yet. I use Spectrum and so far do not have a problem with them. People are always complaining about the bills coming twice a month, but that is standard practice for all cable and internet companies. Just make sure you pay at least one of them every month. They do send notices if there is an outage and the speed of the internet is fairly fast. I don't really have any problems. I get notifications to let me know a payment is coming up.

Well I like about this company is the reliability of service. What I dislike is the price which is $80 a month. I mean come on down in Massachusetts. I get the same product for a fraction of that. The only reason why it's like that up here cuz they like to take advantage of the people because there's no competition. So spectrum enjoy the time you have left because they're all on the way up. She better start treating you customers better now than later. If you want to retain your customers, there's once the competitors come in you're done

I traded my phone in & instead of taking the big chunk off my bill they chose to take 11.00 off each month so it seems like forever. I think it's another year. Then the monthly rate will be reasonable. So if you bring your own phone or buy your phone out right then yes you will have a reasonable rate.
