I wasn’t expecting to have to pay almost $2,000 to get my a/c unit replaced. This was under warranty and I still have to pay to get it replaced. I’m very reluctant to refer you to anybody that I know

THEY Did not do anything to get my garage door repaired. I ended up buying new and installing it myself . Nothing that $200, & 4 hours of my time couldn't fix. So they owe me $500.

They addressed the problem and someone was out on a Sunday to check it and add coolant.

Quick online reporting of a claim. Notifications on finding a service provider and scheduling a service call.

I have to speak to multiple people in order to get a job done. My hot water was not working so I called, I reported the issue. It took about 48 hours for a company to pick up the service. The company did not come out, I called the company. I left a text message for the company. They did not respond so I called Home Warranty of America back and they reassigned the issue to another company. That new company did come out about a day and a half to two days later. Meanwhile, I'm without hot water for more than 7 days, more than 14 days actually. So right now I'm waiting for that company to come and make the repair. I'm in the process right now, waiting. I still don't have hot water.

This company is nearly impossible to get in touch with and will not return your calls. They left my house in shambles with live wires hanging out of the walls and attic insulation all over the ground.

The contractor came later in the evening but was awesome and did a fantastic job. Well worth the wait.

If I could give them sub zero, I would have. I had an AC unit that went bad, and those idiots called it a preexisting condition. HWA is nothing but a group of charlatans. Never again. Stay away from them

If I could give zero on the customer service and lack to deliver on the warranty. They find a way not to pay. They suck! If I could stand in front of the CEO and tell him they suck I would.

I had a bad experience with a contractor that came out to look at my heating system. It occurred to me that reputable companies will not not contract with HW companies. I've wasted my money on this insurance.

The wait time for service providers us very long. There is no way to contact some of the service providers, even when calling HWA.

Completely dissatisfied. A $75 service fee for $30 labor is a great business idea! Never recommend this company to anyone. I would suggest saving your money and time by not involving HWA.

I'm extremely disappointment with HWA's decision to deny my Claim #: 7740480 due to poorly justified reason. This company is completely useless in terms of insurance. I'm going to meet HWA's lawyers at the court.

We have had a home warranty with Home Warranty of America for a year and have tried to file two claims. Both were denied. We are not impressed and would highly recommend AVOIDING this company. NOT WORTH THE COST!

Been waiting for 3 weeks for someone to look at the heater, which is malfunctioning in the coldest year ever. I keep calling they keep waffling, won't let me speak with a supervisor or tell me when I can expect help.

Worst company ever, sucks the contractors in to work for them, “suppose” to pay within 30 days ends up being 60 or 90, then they end up not paying at all,…. Don’t use them or get their warranty !!!

The worst home warranty experience I have ever had. Many real estate agencies use this company when purchasing a home, I recommend you confirm the name of the warranty company first because it has been a horrible experience.

I want to put 0 stars but cannot. It takes simply too much time for them to resolve anything. I have filed two claims with them and took more than a month to address it. If you are down essential appliance, then good luck.

If you want to wait for 3 + weeks for your AC to be fixed, then Home Warranty of America is the place to go! And, if you like dealing with rude, unprofessional service providers, thay can arrange that, too!

I agree with Chris Butcher! A class action law suit might get their attention. My situation is far to extensive and frustrating to go into which HWA doesn’t seem the least concerned.

This company will not help you. They feel you to pay for your service the first $60.00 they contact them They will get someone to come out but can take up to two weeks. Awful company.

Horrible. Vendor requested cash before finishing the job. No calls back from Customer Service after weeks of No A/C in the heat of Texas. Save your money. Do NOT use HWA.

contacted on 10/1/2017 no heat in my house and this company wants me to wait 4 days without heat! This an example of HWA's customer service, and the customer service reps. just give you excuses why they can't do their job.
