Prior experience was horrendous. Had to get my own contractor. Choice would not reimburse him, so I only paid $65 and he ate the rest of his $150.00 bill. Most recent experience turned out very well no thanks to Choice. A/C Company was excellent. However, Choice sent him the wrong property address and spelled my name wrong. Contractor never got to my address on the appointment day, which was last Friday. Appointment was rescheduled to last Monday. I live an hour away from the property. Had to spend 2 days there waiting for Contractor and finally got job done perfectly. The owner of the A/C Company and Technician Jaimie saved Choice's reputation on this one.

My garage door issue was handle in less than 48 hors after receiving a claim number. The company assigned sent a professional and courteous technician who completed the work on one trip and in a reasonable timeframe. At the end he explained what was done and presented the 2 year warranty.

I was able to set up service via the website. I got emails confirming the service time and provider quickly. The repair person arrived when stated and was efficient in doing the repair requested. It is a little too early on one repair to be certain all things are ok but this is just due to some "run time" and not due to poor performance or repair person.

Been with CHW for 6 years and have had a few opportunities to call for service. Overall service was as expected. Had to wait for parts to come in so that the technician could repair our equipment. Some inconvenience but nothing that caused major disruption in our lives. All technicians performed to work as expected. We had to settle for a cash back because of the age of the equipment.

Thomas has a laidback attitude and outlined the benefits clearly and without having me to rush to an immediate decision. This rating is only for my purchase experience. I have had 2 techs from 2 different companies come out to work on a problem! I got a quick response from both when the problem had its quirks and both techs responded back quickly and I was rescheduled quickly by CHW one one and other advised part had to be ordered and would be contacted when part arrives! So far so good and worth the monthly fee and service charge! Much cheaper than have a tech come and you pay for it with an arm and a leg!!

I didn’t get good service on my dishwasher. The technician had the wrong parts. He said he would get the right ones ordered and come back. After he didn’t come back, I called you and you said you would check into it. I waited and didn’t hear back from you. I finally called CHW back and they said it had been over thirty days that I would have to at another $85 to fix what he didn’t fix with the first 85. I am a widow since November and my income has been cut in half and I didn’t have another $85 so my dishwasher is still not fixed. The technician for my dryer was excellent so if I need any other work please send him. TJ’s appliance repair, TJ is wonderful.

HVAC company inspected the dripping water. It was an existing condition and he was not at liberty to make modifications to the P trap set up from the HVAC unit but was kind enough to let me know what I should do and to do this in the fall when the AC is no longer needed.

Which at first I was skeptical about giving my information. Michael the sales manager was very knowledgeable about the services his company offered. Michael was overbearing in his upsell approach. He almost lost me as a customer. However, I stuck with him and I'm looking forward to having CHW as my warranty company.

I have been a Choice customer for over a year and although I appreciate the service fee amount, I have had enough different claims to know now that many things are NOT covered by the service. Minor issues in a home system are covered but major faults are many times denied or placed back on the homeowner to carry the load. I wish Choice could be more comprehensive in their repairs. Also, it's up to the technicians if a system actually gets replaced, even if that same system (ie refrigerator) has failed multiple times. It is not up to Choice or the homeowner (customer) to come together determine that the system has failed multiple times. If this is the case, then Choice needs to send the same technician out each time to get a better all-over scope of the system.

The first time my refrigerator broke the technician came 2 times to fix it. A couple of weeks later had the same problem . They send a different technician ordered some parts and back to normal. However, the problem persisted and I had to call again. Finally they found what was actually wrong and my refrigerator was fixed. So I had to pay the $75.00 fee twice My second call was recently this summer when my A/C broke.They told me it would be up to 2 days to find a technician. I was really upset about this situation. I kept calling and told them I suffer from anxiety and sometimes can’t take a full breath. I was crying , I was nervous, and they would say the same reply. So I had to sweat it out that evening and slept with all my windows open with the ceiling fan on. I told them how could it be possible that you can’t find a technician that service my area? That was not a pleasant experience. I have mixed feelings about how this company operates

I dislike that replacement items are the cheapest possible. I replaced my fan in my home When You wanted me to accept a 42" white fan that goes into a small mobile home only worth $40. When I replaced my microwave you sent me a check for the cheapest on the market and what about installation of that I had to pay for installation. Now I am waiting on a toilet and I don't know what I will get.

I got 3 or4 calls a day from this company. I screen all my calls and finally answered and spoke with a sales person. He was friendly and explained the program, however he held back the info about having to pay $85.00 anytime someone comes out and the 30 day waiting period for the policy to begin. I really wish that he would have given me more info on these things the beginning.

All of our service calls were timely and the service was completed promptly EXCEPT when you sent Sears for my dryer! Two missed appointments because y’all have them the wrong phone number, second appointment guy never showed up although he sent me reports about the visit and forged the estimate approval but it wasn’t fixed because he NEVER showed up. Customer service on this appliance claim was horrible! It’s been 22 days without a dryer! They tried to schedule a third time for the same company to come out and I refused. I am still waiting to have a working dryer!!

The technician, Brandon, was awesome. He found the issues with my AC and fixed them. My house is cool again! However, he found a leaking valve causing the freon to slowly leak out. The other issues were approved by CHW, but this was not. Of course I wanted it fixed so I paid over and above the service fee. I don't understand why this wasn't covered. I have had this warranty over 2 years and have not used it once. Seems a cheap way to handle it and serve your customers.

Our garbage disposal was leaking water, preventing us from using not only the disposal but also the kitchen sink and the dishwasher. After speaking with a technician and sending photos and a video of the leaking disposal, we were pleased that the technician immediately agreed that the disposal needed to be replaced (as opposed to repaired). Unfortunately, it took 12 days from the morning of our claim to the replacement of the disposal (which included one week to order the new garbage disposal). This long period of time seems unreasonable and created an unnecessary burden on my daily life.
