Nice young man an good salesman. We’re all salesmen — I think you services is what I was shopping for as I became very unsatisfied with my past H warrantee Co after 15 years. I am hoping for pleasing an faster service than I’ve previously experienced taking over 38 days to replace a microwave. You’ve presented Compatible price but more items covered. The AC was not cooling enough and it turned out there was a leak in evaporator after CHW specifically asked the technician to do the leak test. That was very nice of CHW to ask because the technician was suggesting to do the injection of the leak stoppage and cleaning the evaporator coil for about $800. I am very satisfied with the CHW (5 star) but kind of disappointed with the technician (3 star). After the visit within an hour, CHW sent the email notified us and early the following day approved the replacement with reasonable out of pocket $$. Thank you CHW.

I made a claim on Fri. 7/8 . A tech from an appliance co. came on Sat. 7/9 before the appt. He was a young man from Ukraine. He really knew his business. He repaired a burnt wire on the Dishwasher and put everything back together. He was very conscientious.

Our Wait Time for CHW to assign a service provider was to me, a little longer than I expected. However, as soon as we received the email from the technician, we knew that CHW had already assigned our case The aircon tech did fix our problem for now. But he also said that if the malfunction recur, it could be a LEAKING refrigerant, meaning another call to CHW!

My A/C went out Friday night. I called Sat morning. They didn't get me an appt until Monday and then the appt was for Wed. The actual service people never called and when no one showed up after the appt window I called them. Turned out CHW never notified them of the appt. My A/C got fixed Thursday late afternoon. The technician was helpful, but didn't seem to want to listen to me in the beginning about how this problem had happened before. Once he did, he was great.

I have been pleased with some of the services, one company said I missed appointment but I was there, they didn’t show up. The refrigerator repair was repaired by Fuse later and they were excellent. I am waiting for a decision to replace the pump and float on septic but it has been over a week, very unhappy about this. I paid extra for septic repairs and now Choice is bulking. This is causing havoc for us.

I am looking forward to having Choice Warranty. I reviewed the various plan coverage, costs and reviews and Choice Home Warranty seemed best options. I was with Total protect for 20 years and cancelled because of increasing monthly. costs, but felt vulnerable to repair costs not having a home warranty. I, however, almost cancelled twice during the application process because of how relentless the sales person was trying to sell me an extended 6 or 3 year plan. A Choice person called the next day pushing a home security system. I said both times I was interested but they kept pushing both conversations. I literally said “I’m going to cancel if you don’t stop. Very disappointing. I want to use Choice but will not tolerate being harassed.

However, during conversation he seemed shocked that it took from Tuesday to Friday to get someone out. Coverage with Choice is great, might need to look at internal communication with their suppliers though to expedite time for repairs.

Very slow in sending a service person. Does not comunicate we Very slow in sending a service person. Does not communicate very well with the policy holder. Also very hard to reach a human to talk with or by pass the computer. I did have a very helpful person at Choice Home Warranty yesterday (Stephanie) when I was able to talk to someone. Most people will get very frustrated when trying to reach a human and the computer cuts them off. I was left with the impression that the company is only interested in the money they collect each month and the policy holder's problems or concerns.

I am currently waiting for a claim manager for a claim that was rejected. The air conditioning was working normal and then suddenly it started to get hot in the house. I called the phone number and walked through the steps with the automated service and received an email the next day for repair. Technician said the equipment leaked out from the outside unit. It is only 4 years old and is under warranty. But I am being told this is not normal wear and tear. That the air conditions day to day job is to move refrigerant and deal with pressure and temperatures, that if anything fails (connections, fittings, etc) that it is not covered. Hopefully this is resolved soon because I am on the 3 rd day of being with out air conditioning in my home in this Texas heat.

Trying to communicate with a live person is frustrating. Need clarification on the service appointment to complete repair on our washer. As you suggested I sent an email 3 days ago and have yet to receive any reply. Finally called service department and waited 35 minutes for a technician to answer. Only took a minute to find out my service time was changed from Monday to Wednesday but no one notified me. Ended up losing 2 days work thinking I misunderstood the first appointment time because the arrival window was between 3 and 9 PM.

I have had quick response from Choice on both occasions I have placed a claim. The workers who were selected to provide HVAC service last year and handyman service recently were pleasant and professional, and they completed the work needed to my satisfaction. My only issue was that I submitted two claims on the same day which required the same service provider, and only one claim and work order was generated. I was able to connect by phone and remedy the situation while the worker was still here. The claims representative I spoke with was polite and helpful.

As far as scheduling goes, it’s easy. Calling and speaking to a customer service rep to get additional help, not so much. If you have to be transferred to for additional assistance, no one EVER picks up! It’s frustrating to say the least. While I really wish this was not an issue and I could give 5 stars, I will also say that the companies that have been sent to our home have been exceptional. In the end, that is what matters.

The first service call was good but on the current claim, the original call was opened 10 months ago, can't get a hold of the tech, and I've had to call at least 6 times and go through sales to get someone on the phone from the customer service group. That person did not follow through and told me I would have to pay a second service fee to get a new company to do what the first company failed to deliver. The original claim was closed. I eventually got a hold of someone that was helpful who opened a new claim. Thankfully that person did follow through. I now have a new appointment and scheduled that will hopefully resolve the issue I've had for 10 months. The only reason I'm giving a 3 is because the first claim went smoothly. This one has been a disaster.
