It took forever to get somebody out there. It took a couple of days and then the guy was there to do the repair at nine o'clock PM. I didn't really get to pick who came out to provide the service. They seem to take care of any problem I had.

I had to fight with them. We had a power outage in my thermostat that was controlling our air conditioning and it was a very good service that Aemrcian Standard had. And they were giving me a hassle about replacing it with the same equipment. They were giving me a basic one tat I could have bought at Home Depot for thirty bucks. So after some back and forth, they relented and input one that was equivalent to it, but I didn't appreciate the hassle.

I had an issue with my microwave and we had a company come out and look at it and this was the problem. It was a couple weeks until I could get the actual part so that was kind of aggravating. But recently I called and had a company come out for my dryer and he was able to get the part and fix it and do that all within a couple days so that was no problem.

I can always get through to customer service. The last time I had to use them we had a problem with the garbage disposal and it was not working properly. We contacted them on Monday, somebody came out on Tuesday.

I have had a good experience. I have three different prpoperties that they cover, one in Massachusetts, one in Maryland, one in Georgia, and sometimes the one in Georgia has kind of been a little wonky as far as getting someone out there.

I don't think anybody can beat what you guys do. I mean forty five dollars for a service call is phenomenal. I picked you because of the all the appliance that are covered. Right now I'm in the process of having my stove replaced. I didn't realize you charged for a replacement and I wish that was more obvious upfront.

For the past years that I have had my two contracts on my homes,I have had really good experiences. But in the past 3 years in NC, they have not been good, and yesterday was AWFUL and it still isn’t resolved! One guy was rude on the phone and another was trying to be very sneaky and was asking me all of these questions I couldn’t possibly know. If you don’t trust the assessment of your technicians, don’t hire them!

I called them for my garbage disposal. The next day the service technician came out. I did not have any issues with the service company but he was half an hour later then the time I was told. Everything went fine he replaced the garbage disposal and made sure that everything was running.

At the beginning I thought the customer service was really pour but it has gotten better. This last time when my dryer broke I called in that afternoon and there was someone scheduled to come the very next day and everything was really good. It is kind of a pour setup that the serviceman has to call in before they can finish or do the repair. They wait and lose so much of their valuable time and my time waiting for someone to call back. They need to have someone there available to talk to these technicians when they call in.

Sometimes I have to wait a long time to even reach the customer service. I think last month my garbage disposal was not working and then I opened the claim online and at first, Choice Home Warranty denied my claim and then the technician called and said it was a mistake. Choice Home Warranty is great for small issues. However, my wife and I had a nightmare of a situation when major issues arose (A/C Unit Replacement). I don't believe Choice offers the "Best Service" as all the scope of support for all CSR's I have spoken to is fairly limited. Furthermore, I do not believe there is anything setting Choice apart from competitors. Choice covers the same issues for about the same price. Choice does not go above and beyond and will do everything in your legal power to do what is easiest for Choice and not their customers. At this point I'm satified in having some form of home warranty, but whether it's Choice or someone else, it seems as Choice is like any other Warranty Company.

The repairman was to be here on a certain day but he did not show up - we were actually sitting in the living room looking out the window (also we could watch the mountain) . When I called they said he was at our home and no one was home. He was not truthful! So it was rescheduled - we had to spend another day waiting but when the new person showed up he did a great job.
