Good company to choose. I have called a couple of times, and one time it wasn’t resolved but the second was really fast and the now I am on the third one and they are sending a check which is not enough to actually replace the washer. The service is good, the people are always on time. I like the prices more then some of the other companies.

It isn’t bad moneywise and they have some helpful people but there are also some with unpleasant attitudes. The last time we used our warranty, the water heater was going out and we called them to have someone come out to do some repairs and they told Choice we needed a new one after the repairs were done but Choice wanted them to come back and do a second opinion. We ended up having to go with a different company and pay a whole other fee. We had a good experience when they worked on the garbage disposal but we probably won’t be with choice at the end of the year.

I like that offered coverage on small things like garage door openers not just heating and air conditioning. A technician came out really fast and replaced the ceiling fan so that was good. The two or three times we’ve used them the last couple of years they have fixed stuff for us but they did drag their feet about the AC because it is old.

I put in a request online and they send somebody that I need to come can fix it. The price for what is offered is good. Everybody has been super friendly and the phone. They understand the business and the policies. They are professional. It can be hard to reach someone from time to time.

Choice Home warranty was a lower price than the one we already had and weren’t satisfied with. Some of the services are good but some are not. One time, I needed to use it when we were having trouble with the air condition and the guy came and supposedly made some adjustments but he did not work on it and he stepped on a pipe and broke it and it was leaking in our house.

When my stove needed replacing, they would not pay for the same type of stove, only an “apartment” quality. I ended up having to pay an additional $150 out of pocket to get the same type of stove. This wasn’t even a high priced model. So “replace” apparently translates to “replace with the cheapest thing that will work”. Not impressed. On the other hand , I had an issue with the wiring in my kitchen and the service was great. My conclusion; repairs great, replacements, not so much. wiring

I've got a claim under dispute and its next to impossible to get in touch with them to settle it if you miss their call. The fine print in the contract excludes parts that fail the unit too. What's the point of "having it covered" if its not covered? Also took 3 service calls to get my AC fixed and I had to pay my service fee for all 3 calls because it wasn't done right the first time!

Only had to use them 1 time so far, and my problem was fixed, but not on the first call out. A technician came out to assess the problem, which was obvious and then had to come back a second time to fix it, which didn't make me particularily happy, during these trying times with COVID-19

They've been very responsive. I've had to call back a few times to check on some things and I find that their scheduling is not always the best, for example they'll give me a four hour window of 7:30 to say 11 AM. Generally it seems like they're trying to be helpful.

They cover the average amount of stuff and have an average amount of customer support. We had a microwave that decided to stop working. They sent somebody out and they couldn't repair it. Decided to replace it so they reimburse it for replacement cost. It was about $70 less than an actual replacement for the same microwave, but it covered most of it. They were quick in giving us the refund as well. They choose decent contractors for the most part, that are responsive and communicate well.

When I used my warranty, the guy was supposed to come out and cover the roof. The guy came out and he told me he needed two hundred dollars and I told him no. He went out outside and said he called the warranty company and that I had to pay an additional two hundred dollars so I gave him the two hundred dollars. He came back and started working on the roof. I wasn't happy with the way he was working on it. I called the warranty company and they said they didin't know anything about the two hundred dollars.

I want to share that it's very frustrating when you purchase a home warranty from them. They are relentlyess. They'll call your home phone, they will call each person's cell phone and will not stop calling you. We begged them to please stop calling us and that we would make a decision in our own time and that was the most torturous three months, ti was a nightmare. That's not a way to do proper, professional business. People can make up their own minds in their own time. Now that we have them, it's difficult to get in touch with customer support. My air conditioning broke in my house last year and it took them three months to fix it. It was a nightmare and they finally gave in and let us go outside of our warranty and get it fixed. We had to fight them.

I needed to use the warranty about a washing machine. I called them and said hold off. I called them and said, no come back. I said I couldnÕt' be there that time and I called them back and they had to re-task. We got a new ticket and it was just sort of a hassle. Choice Home Warranty was very limited returning phone calls. I'm sure the coronavirus has something to do with it, but it was still difficult. There was miscommunication.

I used it to repair my ceiling fan bu tthey decided to replace it. I had a 5 blade and remote control. They replaced it with a little dinky thing that has 4 blades, three lights, and no remote control. I would have paid the difference but I wasnÕt given a choice.

Finally a technician that was experienced working with my refrigerator ice maker. I called it in before along with the refrigerator fan problem and the previous technician was only able to fix the fan and not the ice maker problem so I had to make another claim on the same problem which the ice maker continued to freeze up and not dispense ice.

When we first started this service several years ago, the pool repair person was lousy but that has gotten much better but the repair are given less leeway on how & when to repair or replace so it takes longer. A refrigerator repair is really only the motor or the coolant & I was informed my refrigerator was considered a leak & any repair or replacement was denied. NOT HAPPY! Because in my opinion that means a refrigerator is basically not covered. I called another warranty to find out if that was covered & it was so I purchased their service.

They always answer your call and always available. During plumbing issues, I called choice and the ysent out a plumber out to check my water heater to put a pipe coupling on it ot prevent carbon monoxide within the home. The work is done effectively and accurately and you don't have to call them back.

I like the portal, it's very user friendly. My sump pump went out and I filed the claim through the website and within a few hours they had a company selected and they scheduled an appointment to come out the following day.
