The company is dishonest. I have filed 2 claims the whole time, and they deny everything, and make you go through appeal. This is the most dishonest company. I went back to my other home warranty company they cost 130 more a year but worth every penny American Home shield is legit where as Choice Home Warranty is completely dishonest. Please don’t be fooled by them go with the better company. I don’t want people to go through what I have gone through with them. The customer service area is very unprofessional, and when it came to refunding me part of my plan they made me wait for 30 Days.

Don’t believe their line that they have 24/7 emergency service. They have someone at their call center but if you have an emergency after 5pm on a Friday, your out of luck till Monday. We had a severe stoppage in our sewer lines Friday night. Called Choice and explained the situation. I also explained it was in a 82 year olds bathroom who has severe mobility issues. Did you think they cared? Not at all. Got a to bad, you have to wait till Monday. Now I know why some States Attorney General and a slew of other people are suing them. Misleading advertising at best and down right Lies at worse.

We had a freeze, and one of the pipes in the bathroom froze. We called on Sunday, and on Tuesday the plumber came out, but it took him 2 days to fix it. Tuesday, and then he came back Wednesday morning and it finally drained. He tried really hard and did a very good job. I think it was worth the money. It's $75 for the poor guy who had to come back twice, but he seemed happy.

Recently my dishwasher stopped working and they sent an appliance technician out to fix it and he did. He had to come back a second time, but the second time he came back was just one day later and so the dishwasher is working fine now.

I'm currently involved in a situation where the dishwasher failed and the door would not stay open. I contacted Choice, so they sent out a technician who then submitted the request and Choice denied the order, indicating that it was not part of the package offer.

The last time I used it was really the only time I've really been disappointed. My water heater busted and it was included in my contract. I had to do the upgrade for code compliance. When they sent the plumber out, he did something where it didn't properly drain the water heater, so water filled up in the pan. When I called them back on it, they sent a different plumber out. When he came out he said that it had been the original plumber that installed the water heater that had not done it correctly, so they were denying the claim to fix it.
