I had a repairman come to the house not through Choice and was charged $275.00 for a 10 minute job. after joining Choice, I had a Choice repairman come to fix a ceiling fan and it cost $65.00. My house is over 50 years old and there will probably be more repairs coming up all for $65.00

August 18 I requested a tech they sent me someone from Century appliance he did not fix my refrigerator correctly my attempts to call him back at his request whenever he left fell on deaf ears he would not return my calls he would not return my text at that point I requested a different company to come out although it took a while The job was completed the second company that came out Bealls appliance Was awesome he completed the job and to this day my refrigerator is running as it should

It's hard to speak with a live representative. If after multiple calls, you finally get someone, they are of little help. My yearly rate is too high to have to deal with foolishness when I need help. Furthermore, your subcontractors need better communication skills. As a business, if you can't deliver on time or target due to no fault of your own (I.e. waiting on another party for parts), then communicate that with the client. I understand that due to current circumstances that delays are inevitable but if I have an open work request, I don't think I am asking too much when I call for a status check. I have things going on as well so my inquiries are my way of trying to deconflict schedules. Other than this, I've had a great experience with one of your contractors (Weave Electrics). They are proficient, professional and just a nice group of people.

I'm very happy with THE CHW program; however, I am disappointed in the service subcontractors selected by CHW. I have had two issues referred to A/E -Sear's Appliance Service. Their service windows are excessively long (typically 8 hours) and they continue to extend this interval with no notice. And their techs NEVER call before or at the time of arrival. We have an 80 acre property and they leave upon arrival indicating we are not home, when we are.

This is our second loop with Choice. Customer service is pretty good though there are times when things got messed up, where we thought we had an appointment and it turned out we didn’t. I was very pleased with them when the AC went out but the next time it happened we had to wait a couple of days in 90 degree heat for them to come out but in the end they did come and fix the problem for us. Everyone they have sent has been really awesome. We have been lucky. We have been satisfied with the results.

Everything I need insured, they insure. It might take a few days for them to show up, but they do show up and take care of everything. Whether I call or go online, they help me all the way. When the guys came over to do the repair, they were here the day after my call which is good, but they didn't come with an identification nor were they wearing a uniform. I wasn't going to let the man in if my son wasn't here with me. My washer did not spin the clothes, it didn't spin the correct way so I had to redo everything all over again but now I don't have that problem, it was fixed. The guys were good, they were good guys after letting them in here they spoke with my son and everything. The repairman did what they had to do and got out.

The the gentleman that came was very very pleasant. He did his exploratory diagnostic part of the plan very well and he said they'd let me know what was going on. The person now what I've been dealing with a very nice. I realize getting the repair part is likely part of the supply change issues, but I haven't heard any updates on anything on the two appliances that are still pending to repair. The timing number one when I first signed up over just about a year ago I asked to be given the information on how to to turn in a claim I got absolutely nothing It wasn't until we got close to the renewal time that I clicked on the thing to find out that the new rates would be and there was a little box that said claims so I hit on that and I explained what was going on and then within a short time I had a repairman come in to look at two Industry appliances that gone over the previous you know time and since then I I haven't had any response other than that first. I haven't they given any choices so want they said they would repair it they haven't and I've got a full year yes to have it repaired but I'd like it repaired before Christmas.

Exceptional service. They come true with what they say they'll do. My refrigerator ice tray broke and could not use it, would not function so they sent a repairman. It was a G.E. refrigerator and they replaced that component and I had no problems after that. They handled that first request well, the company they sent was exceptional.

The most recent time I used my warranty was very painless and I got a quick response, however they have a track record of denying claims and making you write referrals. One time I need it and was denied and it took me weeks to get a hold of someone to appeal it and finally resolve it in my favor but on a couple occasions we've really had to fight to get in to pay anything.

I've had about five different issues that I've had and then when you send a message online they're very responsive. My washer broke, my dryer broke and my refrigerator broke so I called and got an appointment very quickly and there was a local person that they sent out and told me I had to get a new washer. I was able to get all that taken care of relatively quickly. Its nice that they have someone local and the person that came out was extremely nice, extremely helpful and got things taken care of really fast.

Choice Home Warranty is responsive in getting a repair person out to do an initial assessment, but do not expect them to ever "replace" an appliance that cannot be repaired. Over the past year, I have had to replace a washer, a double oven, and a refrigerator. In each case, I tried several times to get the appliances repaired, but finally had no choice - for example, the repairman told me that there were no longer parts available for my Double oven and confirmed that it could not be repaired - and I asked Choice for a replacement. In each case, Choice asked the repair person to photograph any rust or other signs of wear on the appliance, and then refused to replace the appliance saying that the spot of rust was the cause of the problem (it was absolutely not in any of the three appliances), and then ruled that those appliances were not covered. I bought a five year police a couple of years ago, and am now stuck. I tried everything to get additional evaluations, send photos, and work with the company, but in each case, they refused to replace any of my appliances when they could not be repaired. In four months time, I spent over $4,900 on replacement appliances that all were supposed to be covered by Choice Home Warrantee. So discouraged.
