My experience with choice home warranty so far has not been good, my a/c has a leak from a refrigerant leak in the coils and to my surprise this is not covered by the warranty, they did offer me a discount to repair with their tech but only after I spoke to manager Micheal who I must say was very nice. I’m really not happy with their service!

Filed a claim with Home Warranty Company for Themodor gas cook top to fix one of the burner that would not come on. They sent twice unqualified non certified Themodor repair company to diagnose. Paid them $65 each. HWC denied the repair, which still I do not know the reason. They have refused to give me a copy of the diagnosis. I called a certified repair company and they gave me a quotation of $550 waiting for parts to have it fixed.

Very Disappointed lately. The last two time I had to find my own guy to do the work and its looking like that is going to happen again. I'm Starting to think that they would rather have you find it so you then have to pay for it out of pocket and then wait 30-45 days to get money back to you.

I submitted my claims on July 19th, it has taken until August 6th to find technicians. One appointment was made with a repair company no longer doing business with Choice Home Warranty. I had to contact CHW to request another technician be found. Once another technician was found, CHW sent an email with the scheduled appointment for a Saturday; I called to confirm with the company as was informed they don't work on Saturday. Thus far, I am not thrilled with the communication and follow through from Choice Home Warranty. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

I paid the annual rate for two years from choice home warranty, and went with a new company when the contract expired. CHW never had authorization to automatically withdraw from my account, however automatically renewed my account and began withdrawing from my account. When I called and requested the money to be refunded because I had went with another company they stated that they could only refund me one month.

I called in a claim for dryer and have not had a call for appointment. I checked website and it stated one was set for 2 weeks out. This is unacceptable. I have had this home warranty for years and have never had to wait that long for service. I was informed that the fee went up to $85.00 from $45.00. I called and your employee stated you were not an emergency service company. That answer is not acceptable. I have always suggested to my friends to get Choice Home warranty. I need to re-think that advice.

I think that choice warranty like all other home warranty companies are a fraud. I think that you guys collect customers annual fees and give very little to nothing in return for those fees. My compressor went out on my air-condition and Choice said that it was to old to replace so I got nothing and now may have to replace my a/c unit. My unit wasn't to old when you started taking my money, it got old when you thought you might have to replace it. As I said earlier home warranties/Choice are a FRAUD!!!!!

1. Difficult to understand what customer service agents are telling you. 2. I feel as though choice should have paid for the service provided and feel as though since service could fix the problem by only putting a bandage on, and recommended replacement that Choice should replace system as this was on going and in three years only filed claims for the AC. I am still debating October renewal . 3. Would I recommend Choice, not sure.

My previous customer service representative named Kevin was extremely unprofessional, he also hung up the phone on me and never called me back. That was no accident! I was not rude to him in any way for him to do that! All I asked him was to please allow me to speak because he kept talking over me. The last representative name JoAnn solved my issues and was courteous. I requested a phone call from a manger.

this was the worst experience i have ever had dealing with a company was told by first salesman that if i tried to call around for a better deal that when i called back he would make sure i would not get the deal he was offering he would black list me the second salesman sold me additional coverage for my heated saltwater swimming pool and talked about the salt cell and the heat pump and said it would be covered but the contract excudes both items he flat out lied to me to get me to enter into a contract under false pretense i have now had to cancel my renewall

I have been very dissatisfied with the lack of service received from CHW. While I’ve had no problems with the technicians who’ve worked on the home, the case managers I’ve had to deal with with at CHW for one of my recent claims have been extremely unhelpful and one was downright hostile. The lack of professionalism is disgusting and I would never recommend CHW.

I had high expectations for CHW, until I had to use it. Failure to replace a 14 year old water heater with water running out the pressure drain cost me an increased water bill as well as an increased electric bill. To add insult to injury, after 4 days of no solution from CHW I had to use a local plumber and, of course, denied payment. I have appealed and hope a resolution can be reached. I have receipts of all my expenses and just want to be paid by the service that was suppose to have my back.

I switch to Choice because they offered a lower rate but I got what I paid for. Terrible customer service. Sent scam technicians on multiple occasions that tried to collected extra cash. After I complied they tried to send the same scammer to fix something else. They offered me a gift card to replace my oven but it had to be used within a few weeks. I did not get a chance to use it because my wife died and they refused to honor it. Just a short list of many complaints.

Choice home Warranty say the cover this and that, but hide the fact that they only cover some of this and that. When they send you a chart and it has checks next to things that are so called "covered", that it not the case in reality. I started with a $25 dollar service charge fee, that increased to $40 and I found out on this call it is all the way up to $75. This is after they take $45 a month from me and I have not had a claim in over two years. I will be looking elsewhere after this experience.

this company sucks and does not live up to the reputation. I will be filing with BBB and indicating such. I have a 18 year old Garbage Disposal that stopped working and they came out and assessed that it could turn, was getting electricity, but did not have a reset button. They refused the claim on that reason. Both the technicians that came out stated the unit was not working and suggested replacing. The Choice determined not to. I am cancelling my account and advising all of our friends and relatives to do the same. This is shoddy business by anyone's standards.

I am totally unsatisfied with this company and will seek legal restitution unless they do the right thing. I caught an issue with AC and called for service. The third, yes third technician they sent diagnosed problem and recommended a repair before unit had to be replaced. I was sold the technician said there was nothing wrong mechanically (I have a copy of the report, a lie). When I confronted claims specialist I was told the unit still worked and they would do nothing. Unbelievable! No wonder you have been sued so many times!

I won't ever refer this scam company. To take money from victims without verifying code regulations, then refuse to pay to conform to EPA laws is unethical and slimy. My R22 banned air conditioner is bad. It needs replacement. CHOICE denied claim reason. debris and water damage (rust) . No overriding concern about unknown banned refrigerant. If dirt and rust can invalidate a warranty on a 35 year old squirrel cage what do they cover? You're better buying 500 dollars I lotto and using your winnings to buy new appliances.
