Very dissatisfied with this company. My oven malfunctioned and CHW chose to repace it. Offered a Lowes gift card for $338.00 to replace it. I have a GE slide in oven with glass top, dual burners, self cleaning , etc. Ovens at Lowes comparable to mine start at over $1000.00, and a GE starts at 1500.00. I refused the offer and was switched to a manager. After sending photos of my oven I was told $338.00 was all they would offer, pretty much a take or leave it proposition. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Have the “Choice Ultimate” home warranty plan. Dishwasher leaks; called to submit claim; approved for replacement. Only offered $246 to replace. Seriously?! When refused offer and spoke to “specialist,” was told offer is firm, and offer is based on wholesale prices. How does a consumer buy at wholesale?? Am continuing the complaint up the food chain, but can’t get an “appointment” (phone call) with a manager until May 10th. This whole process started April 20th. Almost a whole month without a dishwasher. Ridiculous! Don’t purchase this scam of a home warranty policy!

Horrible customer service. Even after speaking to the technician that was out doing the diagnostic, that the system would have to be replace due to the part being unavailable. . Choice Home will report that the tech was no able to diagnostic and they would assign another tech in which you would have to pay for the same information over and over and never have the job done. When I ask for the diagnostic that they received they point me back to the technician.

I felt pressured & signed up for the warranty. When they called to ask if I had any questions, I told them I wanted to cancel. I was hung up on & called them back. I spoke with a different rep & he stated he cancelled & I would receive an email the next day verifying. I waited till Tuesday & attempted to reach them again only to be transferred without them telling me only for the next person to answer said she needed to transfer me to the cancellation dept. I asked does that mean the policy wasn’t cancelled on Friday as requested? She said it was not. Then hung up on me.

Purchased n 2017 for $1,750.00 for 5 year contract. Reported 1st claim on refrigerator water filter & warranty didn’t cover. Reported 2nd claim on the fiber band that goes around oven window inside stove door ( because got stained from cooking and while cleaning it the scrubbing broke it dow) & warranty didn’t cover. Made 3rd & 4th claim on my microwave same issue and it took 6 months to get fix and didn’t get fixed and am still waiting for replacement e-gift card for $191.00 from Lowe’s to replace and still haven’t gotten it. Warranty service SUCKS.

I have choice they are terrible. Example I have a two drawer dishwasher one drawer a year ago started leaking they paid to have it fixed. The other drawer did the same thing and now they say not normal wear and refuse to fix it. How can that be? Ok one drawer not the 2nd one a year later. Refused to fix AC even though I should proof of bi-yearly maintenance. They will deny claims for no reason. Waste of money.

replace like and kind is a joke. Our LG electric dryer is on the blink and the repair people that Choice Warranty sent out is they can't get parts for it anymore. Has been discontiuned. Choice would only come up with $488 for a Whirpool. To replace with an LG that is 7.4cu. (because they don't make the the7.0 anymore like ours) is $799. This has happened on the A/C claim and the water heater claim. They advertise to replace with like and kind and it is very false/ they are 3 for 3 in paying about half what they should have on the 3 claims we have had in the last year. NOT

I moved in to a dishwasher 12 years old covered by policy from seller . CHW came on 4/13 - informed a needed 2 parts one simple the other the board that was no longer manufactured - the would require 10 days to research availability - only in formation I am provided they will let me know 4/27 (that’s 14days) . The part is no longer made . What’s the chance there is anew one on the shelf somewhere. Oh ok a refurbished one is satisfactory? Not by me . After reading this how would you grade CHW. My grade is ZERO

I’ve had a few issues with some of the technicians that have came by and I’m currently waiting on one to come and check my slow draining sink...he called Friday to move the time to around 5:30pm for that day. I haven’t heard anything back from him and now it’s MONDAY!!!! Poor communication at best

I have tried to use the service twice. The first time was with my dryer. They sent someone out to look at it then they wanted to have another company come for a second opinion but then canceled them and refused to pay for the parts to fix my dryer. I finally had to have the dryer fixed at my expense. The second time i used then they sent me an email saying that the company sounds be there on certian date. I called the company the next day and they had no record of ever being contacted by there service. Nothing but frustration and headaches from using this home warranty service

Not very pleased. Long wait times for service. No compensation for all the lost food I had waste. Had no fridge for 2 months cause I had to wait for available appointment. I called customer service and the woman acted as if she didn't care. How can I feed my kids with no fridge? Very disappointing.

It took forever to get a service man here. Choice had to reassign a different service rep 3 times. The service man indicated the problem with the dish washer was due to wear and tear, yet you denied the claim, Very poor service and tremendous time delays, I have sat and waited for hours with a no shop service rep. I would never recommend this company. I've had 3 years of contracts with them. The first year I didn't use the service at all. During the second year I sold the property and transferred the warranty to the new homeowner. The third year Choice warranty continue to charge my credit card for the previous year when I wasn't even an owner. I had since purchased a new policy on my new home. It took me numerous phone calls with outrageous wait times. In the end I had to contact my bank to get the issue resolved! I won't be renewing with Choice warranty!

This is the worst company you can get a warranty through. Extremely rude workers and they really do not make an effort to help. I am currently 9 months into a claim and haven’t gotten a response from them in 2 months. I’ve called and can’t reach my case manager and requested the superior ... I have 5-6 messages unanswered on their portal and have called and they said a case manager will call me on 4 straight calls. I have gotten NOTHING from them. Save your money and don’t purchase. Their case manager Kirsten S. is the worst worker ever and is extremely rude!

The first company canceled 30 minutes before their appointment, and I took the day off of work. The second company fixed my leak however choice warranty would not cover the damaged bathroom cabinet which was destroyed by the leak. All the company did was tighten the pipe and put some kind of water repellent tape around it. The replacing the Faucet, but the cabinet is destroyed. Not sure if I’m gonna keep the warranty company if they don’t replace what was damaged because of a leak. Makes no sense, very disappointed and this is our first time using this company.

Too bad you can't give them a zero, or a negative number. They don't even deserve a 1 star. If you get anything from Choice Home Warranty run away as fast as you can. They lie . . . period! They even have vendors/technicians that will lie and give false reports. It's just a matter of time before they get shut down for scamming people. The most unbelievable things about CHW is how they haven't been sued and shut down yet. Just a matter of time!

If I could not give one start I wouldn't. This company is a scam. They cover nothing. They send out terrible technicians. Choice sent out an AC technician and he put in the wrong size coil and ruined my unit. Choice would not help with this at all. Please read the small fine print on what Choice covers. They also read from a script when they give you a denial on any coverage. Save your money. Read on Facebook in the group about Choice. Look at what others have gone through.

This company is a nightmare to deal with. I purchased my new home with a home inspection that all items were in good condition, and competed all required maintenance service. This year alone they have denied repair of an exterior light, a ceiling fan, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. Do yourself a favor and just place what you would have paid them in a savings account and complete the repairs yourself without them.

Customer service personnel are rude, dishonest & do not return phone calls or emails. The company does not take the opinion of paid heating & air professionals & will deny a claim based on their own “knowledge”. We provided all information requested & when we stated we felt we were getting the run around, claim was denied & they stopped all communication. Followed contract for mediation/arbitration & not one response from CHW. Terrible service.

Not much any longer ,service technician was the only positive,thus the 1 otherwise it would be 0. My appliance was unable to be repaired,I was given a buyout of 246.00 which wouldn’t pay for a toy appliance. I’ve spoken to Yvette who was as unhelpful as could be regarding my input. I will be looking for a new provider, and will let the 4 clients I referred this past year to do the same.

Firstly it took aver a month to get a resolution to my non washing/drying moldy dishwasher. The part was back ordered, they offered me $246 to "repair or replace" the appliance. Where or where could I replace it for $246? after haggling past 2 weeks, I finally decided to move on and accept their offer(not worth my time to con't to dispute). Did so on line and low and behold, I do not get cash or a Visa type debit card, they "WILL" send to me a Lowe's gift card. so not only do I get a paltry amount to "replace" my dishwasher, now I'm obligated to go to lowes, now or in the future?????
