Choice did not cover any of the appliances that had broken. I've had them for years and I'm tired of giving the money and them always refusing to cover what is broken. Air conditioner coils had an issue they did not cover. Dishwasher they water sprayer inside the dishwasher broke. Then melted to the heating element on the bottom. They said they would not cover that. I am done with this company.

I have been a customer for many many years, never used the warranty until I needed it on December 21, 2020, when I was told my plan did not cover my Water Heater. The main tank is exempt as well as many other things. The conclusion is only parts are covered. Very misleading and this is why they sell sight unseen because they know the restrictions. You do not get the policy until you pay so you do not see all this upfront. SCAM ALERT!!!!! I see they have prefilled Amazing and this is not amazing.

I have a Viking refrigerator had same technician out to fix my refrigerator. My refrigerator is messed up for the third time now choice is telling it’s not the same refrigerator the serial number doesn’t match same technician had called the telling it’s the same one . Choice will not fix it . They keep claiming it’s not the same refrigerator even tho the technician is telling them it’s the same one . Worst company !!! Getting an attorney because I can see numerous people are complaining about their refrigerator not getting fixed . This needs to stop now .

i had a pipe burst while i was out of town, it had been spewing water for over a week, tech came to fix it, i paid him $60 and then he tells me " choice will not pay to have it fixed" don't understand why it was turned down, something about corrosion, the pipe was in ceiling above my closet, no damage upstairs, the only corrosion was from where water was leaking and it corroroed the pipe, you guys blew it on this one and i'll let everybody know

CHW was not there for us when one of their contractors performed horrible a/c service, caused hundreds of dollars of damages to my home and CHW would not give me the insurance information of their contractor. 4 months later we are still dealing with the same problem caused by their contractor and now CHW tells me my claim is no longer covered because of a cap. Even though the continued problem has been caused by the contractor that performs work for them.

Frankly your company/plan sucks. This is the 2nd time I'm trying to have an appliance repaired and after you trying for 48 hours, you can't locate a service provider. I have called 4 different ones, and none want to work with you. You either do not pay them enough or fair market value, or you don't pay on time. I will NEVER recommend your company to anyone.

Always a hassle to get anyone and why would a claim that CHW could have saved me $30 by providing a service tech to find our water/ice problem. No CHW told me to get someone and I did he discovered the problem and the service fee was $75 is it to much to ask to get the $45 fee reimbursed since CHW couldn’t supply service?

Not happy currently with Choice Home Warranty. A faulty gas valve in my heating and air unit they said was not covered and they sent me a portion of the contract regarding roof. No where did I find in the contract about a gas valve. This should have been a covered part. Especially since I pay for the total plan and not the basic plan.

I am not so pleased with the service SO FAR. I had to wait 2 weeks to hear back from the vendor about my service call and there was ZERO follow up from Choice to make sure my service was being handled. I was the one to push Choice to find me a service person to begin with and that took a week and 3 days to get scheduled. I was not pleased with the first chance Choice wants to lay off the finding of a service person to me instead of working to get someone out. Luckily the service was not an emergency. I would hate to see how that would go.

The technician who came was very good. However, Choice Home Warranty has denied to pay him. We have a leaking shower head, which was not leaking when we moved into our home over 30 days ago (the waiting period). Choice claims it was a pre-existing condition. Yes the pipes are pre-existing but the leak was not. The Home Inspector did not find one before we moved in and it did not start until after 30 days of being here. If this is how Choice Home Warranty works I want to cancel my policy and get a full refund.

Heat has gone off twice in less than three weeks. Heating and air people were great, but choice was miserable. My husband is on a vent in icu - each time a ticket was opened - my son (first time) and I (second time) gave MY CELL PHONE as contact. Yet choice gave JFK Heating my husbands cell so they didn’t schedule me - I had to call. Thankfully they worked me in each time. I have enough on my plate right now. Miserable experience.

The technician that came out was polite and informative. He advised us that unfortunately due to some water getting through our drains and no total stoppage or backing up that CHW would not pay to snake the drain. In addition, CHW does not pay to camera to find the location of the blockage. O was clear of the issue when I submitted the claim so if it was not covered why would CHW send out a plumber. Nothing was done but I still had to pay the service call fee.

I have had Choice Home Warranty for nearly 5 years. I have paid them nearly $2000 in premiums. I have had about $ 600 in paid claims. I currently have a plumbing leak under my home. Plumber needs to access through my floor. On Choice website if you read terms and conditions it says they pay up to $500 for access to plumbing. My claim was denied and I was sent a copy of my contract which states they do not pay for access. What is going on. I call this false advertisement. When you call you get the run around to speak with somebody in charge.

I pay for protection on things that may breakdown. I file my first pool claim and it is DENIED because a pipe was cracked? Are you kidding me?? I asked specifically what would be covered when I signed up. There is absolutely no reason this should have been denied. This experience has me second guessing why I switched companies. Your company is dishonest, misleading and the worst experience I have had to deal with. Be honest and tell people you really just want their money and you don’t want to pay out on claims when people need the service they are made to think they are getting.

Was so so about my first claim.. they made it somewhat right.. second time I was lied to & still waiting on a supervisor to call me beck 3 weeks later, had to file a 3rd claim for 2nd claim because the company they sent sucked 3rd claim was denied due to rust the email stated but the heating element was melted in dishwasher so not sure where the “rust” came from... nothing about rust in description from company that came out.. save your $ for another company

Choice warranty gets a service technician out so they can diagnose the problem. Once they complete the eval then they need to submit to choice warranty to verify work will be approved. Choice warranty then always finds a loophole to decline the work and customer then has to pay out of pocket for the repair anyways. They've declined almost all claims I've put in over the past 5 years and unless its a simple cost effective fix will not approve. You're better off putting money in an account each month and saving that for repairs that come up. Would give a zero if available.

Great sales guy. After I signed up he’s disappeared. Impossible to get through and kept getting transferred to a computer. Tried to get a printout of my contract and was told Choice Home was a green company and denied my request. I’m 77 and handicapped and finally, on a one time basis, they’re going to send me a contract. Maybe. I dread putting in a claim.

I have owned my home and had the warranty for about 3 months now. I had a leaky dishwasher that has been serviced twice now, costing me two service fees. Upon the 3rd technician suggesting the dishwasher be replaced, I was given a lowball cash offer by Choice Warranty, and after declining the cash offer, my claim was given to a specialist who has not returned my call or email so far. Follow up-12/1. Spoke with an agent at Choice, who continued to give me a ridiculously low offer. I will never do business with this company again, and I strongly recommend to everyone to STAY AWAY.

Not a pleasant experience with CHW. Denied claim within minutes of submitting it because of “rust”. One intriguing thing is, you can’t submit the claim until you describe what is rusted on your HVAC system. There is a question of what is rusted on your system , and there is not a selection for none or nothing. Beware this company is a scam

I've put in 2 claims since July 16 and my issues still have not been repaired. The technicians scheduled were excellent but CHW still have not communicated to the technician to repair my problems. CHW have awful communication issues with me and the technicians. It's like YOU DON'T care and DON'T Want to fix the problems. How sad, I can't believe your service.

Terrible! Stay away! Wont fix anything! Called on 4 separate occasions, they will charge you $65 service fee each time and tell you its not covered! When you cancel them, they will continually hang up on you and keep charging you. Took me 5 months for them to actually cancel and my bank wont reimburse me any of the money because Choice Scam Warranty wont accept my cancellation!

My experience with Choice was very bad. First, Choice scheduled my appointment one day before from the actually day that the A/C technician came to my home. Second, Choice declined my claim open on 11/07/2020. The claim manager did not an idea of the reason, she was just reading. Her approach was not professional as it should be.
