Not very happy now. Just received a email from Sears stating they could not find replacement part for my oven. So now what. There was no reason why. Or reason for delay. Don’t see why I should have to wait maybe six months maybe with backlog for shipment for a part they may not make anymore. Not impressed!

During a scheduled preventive maintenance for our furnace, dangerous burned piping was noted. Clearly something was wrong with the furnace. The technician advised the need for a new furnace as this was a major safety issue. Choice warranty as denied the claim. This is the second tome Choice has found a reason to deny coverage. We have 2 houses covered by Choice and I will never renew the policy. Save your $$$$. Choice Warrant is a scam😡

I would not recommend Choice Warranty to anyone who asks. The denied fixing my a/c within 5 minutes stating that it was not due to fair wear & tear. What do you call it when it was working fine for the last year and a half and then stops? That is fair wear & tear. I will appeal and if not resolved, I will cancel. This behavior is in line with what I have learned since I signed with them.

I am not pleased with anything about this company. We have had multiple claims to have been denied in each instance with no merit. I can’t fathom how after multiple incidents we have had a repair service selected and trusted by Choice provide a recommendation that Choice ultimately denied with frivolous basis! There has never been a contractual basis for the denials and appear to be very subjective. I would NEVER recommend anyone to utilize this company and will leverage every Avenue (social media and network of friends) to discourage any potential customers.

I have been member for several years never had to make a claim as our home is new. Moved over from AHS because their claims process was difficult. I have to say Choice service sucks and was recently talked into a three year contract that I paid in full for it. It’s been two weeks and I am still without a microwave. My moms microwave went out about same time as mine and my mom has AHS and already has fully installed new microwave all taken care of by AHS and all she paid was her service fee. I guess AHS not so bad after all. Considering switching back.

My experience just happened. It was not good. My 5 tear old microwave went bad and they refuse to replace it Making a determination that.it was not normal weae and tear. Which means I will have to purchase a new one on my own. I could have used the premium I paid for the year to do so. Totally disappointed 😞

If I could give them a lower score, I would. Offered me a third of replacement cost for my dishwasher. When I asked what dishwasher I could buy for that amount, I was met with silence because they would have to go off script. My Real Estate Team will no longer be recommending this company. Frankly, American Home Warranty is who we should have gone with in the first place. Waiting for my small check to arrive (In 30 days) before I cancel.

I submitted a claim on monday sept 6. The technician show up sunday sept 12, took pictures and submit to Choice Home for approval. Now waiting for the technician to get parts to return and complete the repair. This repair will take at least 10 days now. The technician said he had too many calls to handle. Choice Home Warranty this is horrible customer service. I been customer for like 6 years now. Need to hire more service companies. I'm seriously considering canceling my contract to look for another home service warranty company.

They sent a technician out and he determined my ac compressor was bad and told me he was recommending replacing the the whole system. He either lied to me or CHW didn’t follow his recommendation because my claim was rejected because there was some grass inside the unit. Not that much because I keep it pretty clean. So at this point I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. In fact at this point I am planning a social media campaign telling my story. I don’t want other people going through what I am right now

This is my first experience with Choice Home Warranty and it's not been good. I had a problem with my furnace and choice sent out a technician and he tool me that I need a new pressure valve and pvc line. Now I have to wait for Choice to approve the work and that took three phone calls and they would not cover all the work. Choice stated that the PVC line crack was not do to normal wear and tear even after the technician that Choice sent sad it was from normal wear and tear.

very nice and polite. I had to call around and he came around 6:30pm which was late and i was disppointed CHW dept was closed as CHW requires approving repair which is ridiculous. I am not impressed with CHW's overall expeirence as my issue is still NOT FIXED

1. I dislike that I paid 3 service fees, a total of $225 in 30 days for the same issue with AC unit claim filed 7-25-21. 2. The first claim I filed with Choice back in April 2021 for my garbage disposal unit, the technician was not paid in a timely manner and sent me a bill. This was after I had spoken with a claims manager about approving the claim. 3. My garage door was broken and I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. Basically, I have paid out of pocket more than I paid for the Choice warranty. I will not be renewing my policy once it expires.

The service personnel sent are high caliber. The insurance company of course finds some way to short the customer. Either by legalese of contract to plain just we are not going to do it. Replacing equipment they always push the depreciation and give "maybe" 3/4 of the cost of the replacement. I pay to much each month just to be screwed over when I am forced to use it.

Choice is very misleading and assumes that everyone will read the fine print on what is covered and is not. The other issue is that I was informed by a customer support rep that I could update my account and cancel my account online if I want to. This is also misleading as I cannot cancel my account. I was informed that my case manager would call me on 27 Aug at 1000. I have yet to receive that phone call. Cancel my policy now as I will no longer allow this company to take my money.

He determined it was a clog and needed further advice from his employer before he proceeded, at which point he left. He called to advise me that he cold fix the problem for a substantial price, and left it in my hands. l then called Choice Home Warranty and was informed for faster service l should go online which i did, and left a testimonial.. I would like the last technician that worked ln my plumbing to return please.

If you like frustration this is the warranty for you. Air conditioner issue was reported on 8/9. With no reason given Choice Home Warranty fired the first HVAC company they chose after they recommended a new unit. They then decided to send out a second one without consulting us. We are still waiting for resolution after twelve days. The second technician never showed up today after we waited from 11am to 3pm. The manager promised to call.....still waiting......It's 94 degrees here. Just sayin'.

Had some issue with AC evaporation coil and filed a claim on june 15. They assigned a technician but could not fix the issue until July 22 then they asked to find technician myself and fix the issue and said they will reimburse the cost . Unfortunately when the work was done refused to reimburse, I had to pay all money from my pocket, horrible customer service. Don’t waste your money to buy CHW

Our technician was, and is professional and knowledgeable! They took care to explain everything carefully, and are trying to help us resolve our home issue. CHW denied our claim stating that our damage was not normal wear and tear, despite our technician clearly telling them it was due to normal wear and tear. He took pictures and explained the problem. We loved our technician, however we will probably begin looking for a home warranty alternative.
