Everybody was great. All the technicians were courteous and helpful. I had an issue with my stove and they were out in a couple days. They ordered the part and came back and fixed it all within about 10 days.

I've had a good experience so far. The A/C went out during hot weather and they had somebody here the next day. The technician that came out was knowledgeable and fixed the issue, so that was the important part.

I wasn't able to get things fixed reasonably and they didn't offer any money towards me getting my items fixed. My air conditioner went out and it needed a new compressor and they said I needed to replace the whole unit. But they were willing to pay almost nothing for the new unit whatever. So they offered to buy one at a discount because they have such buying power or whatever, but I could get it cheaper locally than they were trying to sell it to me for. I ended up using my own air conditioning people because it was much cheaper than what Choice was offering. I felt Choice should have paid part of it. That's what American Home Shield does. They'll allow you to get your items fixed and they'll send you a check.

They are quick to assign claims and when um the job is not done properly they would help reassign the claims as well. Having said that, a few times the job was not fixed the first time so they may have to look into improving their vendor network

I placed a service call for my garge door which was not opening properly. CHW sent a tech to fix it . thetech said that thye would reach out to CHW for approval . as it turned out , CHW did not actually pay for the repairs needed for the door to open properly so i ended up paying boththe &9. service fee plus $425 for th tech to do the repairs so the door would open . Very disappointing !

Very hard for me to complete this survey. I filed a claim for a broken fan light weeks ago. I had very prompt service and technician was great at diagnosing the problem. I purchased a new fan light and was told to call technician directly for the install. I communicated that I was not it a hurry. It is now about 4 weeks with some communication with technician. Awaiting appt for an install. So my problem is not yet resolved. I am new to CHOICE and this is my first claim. I will rate once my issue is resolved .

I have a 5 year plan and have only used it twice in the last year. The first claim the technician that serviced my air conditioner was horrible, my air conditioner was disabled after his visit. I had to pay another company over $300.00 to fix the problem. The second claim the technician that serviced my dryer was knowledgeable and detailed.

Trouble understanding your advertised policy on "fix or replace". You made a decision for me and treated the claim like auto insurance and made a depreciated cash offer which was insufficient to cover the cost of a new refrigerator. After a week without refrigeration and loss of food, our investigation was fortunate to find a suitable replacement . I was disappointed the learn your real policy on replacement.

I'm not sure how to rate. I have only gotten back about half the money I paid for my warranty, but I still have a couple years left. The problem is you have to go through Choice to get the work done. So you work on their time schedule. Our refrigerator went out. Took almost a week to get someone here. We had a plumbing problem. I ended up calling someone myself, because we couldn't go any longer without toilet and shower. Choice did refund my money, but I had to threaten then of canceling my warranty

The three times times we used it, two times were a 5 and one was a three. The contractors for the plumbing and refrigerator repair were awesome. One-time, knowledgeable and took the time to do it right. The contractor for the oven was not as good. Blamed the issues on the manufacturer and told us just not to use the self cleaning feature.

I can never get someone to answer questions, just someone that is out of the US that has a script to go by. Expert Appliance came out to fix my ice maker. They said they never got paid from you so they wanted me to pay. I didn’t because the ice maker they put in worked for two days. They were very good but won’t fix it because they didn’t get paid? I called and called you but all I was told was a check was sent. But never would you check to see if it had cleared the bank so you could reissue them another so I lost out and so did other customers because they were actually good techs.

I was disappointed when they said my microwave damage was caused by neglect and misuse which I did not understand their conclusion. I don’t have the time to file a complaint or argue with anyone. Disappointed with the replacement cost given for replacing the dishwasher. The first Lowe’s voucher was less than $300, I asked to speak to a claim specialist and she increased it to $597, which doesn’t cover the cost for a new dishwasher before install charges. Plus, the credit voucher is only for Lowe’s, the consumer, myself can’t price shop stores and the only option given is to purchase through Lowe’s. I’m assuming Choice gets some kick back for solely offering Lowe’s gift cards. Also, it’s been over 3 weeks and I still don’t have the Lowe’s gift card - 3 weeks and counting without a dishwasher. I will not be renewing my contract with Choice.

The first time we needed help we went on and on and on trying to get that help. It took forever and it was it was just a hassle of a fight to get anything done. We've had to call them since that bathtub episode, and the response was right away. And the last two times we've had to call it's been really great. So they do seem to be getting better.

I had a plumbing emergency that needed to be taken care of immediately because the plumbing was draining to the outside of the house. And Choice couldn't help me because I had to wait about 3 days for them to come and so I had to pay $395 for Roto-Rooter to come because it was a Sunday and it was an emergency. So my policy really didn't help me at all with Choice. So I was not very happy to have to pay $395 out of my pocket for a plumbing stoppage.

They try to be helpful when I call, but it's taking longer and longer to get somebody out for an appointment. I've had people come out and we have to pay the fee, then they say, "Oh, well, we don't do this." So not getting the right people out that aren't professional. They pull up in a regular car and it seems like it's a side gig and some of them just don't know what they're doing.

When I went to cancel my policy, they put me through hell. It's almost like a scam that they don't want you to cancel. It took me over 4 hours one day and I couldn't get through; they said they'd call back, but they never did. And then the second day I started calling early in the morning and I finally got through to somebody and when I went to cancel she kept prodding me real hard to stay a customer.

I thought the service was okay. I wish they would send out the contract before you sign up, even though they give you 30 days to cancel it. They have you sign it first, then they send the information later. It should be reversed, they should be able to send you information, then you sign up if you want to. They keep going back to say, well, read the contract.

I think they have been trying to improve their services, but I think they have to work harder with their vendor to try to get more vendors to work with them, so they don't put the problem of getting service on the customer themselves. Because they couldn't find people to work with them. It'd be like a week or two and no one's getting back to me with a person and so I have to try to find a person and that was very difficult. So I'm hoping they'll work harder with their vendors to see if they can get more people who will actually provide the services with the warranty.

We had a refrigerator issue and we had the technician come out four times and they never got it fixed. And then they said, well, it has to be replaced. So then we went to find a refrigerator and Choice said they were going to replace it and they were going to send us a check for $986 when the refrigerator cost $1700. And we still haven't gotten the $986. They want their payment on time all the time but they don't want to pay on time. They go out and take 30 days. If I told them it's going to take 30 days to make a payment to you, they would cancel my policy. We were kind of upset about that. We just had a plumbing leak in our house, so we called them again. We had a plumber show up, sit there with his hands on his hip, looked at the ceiling and said, yeah, you got a leak. But we can't do anything about it because the ceilings got to be opened up and then he wanted $85 for showing up and standing there with his hands on his hips. I said, Jesus, what is going on with these people? You want to get paid for doing nothing. They choose the cheapest companies that they can find to do the work. And it doesn't get done.

One representative I talked to, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the customer services are real polite and understandable and I'd like to commend them. Then you have some that don't have time for you. Recently, my air conditioner was out and so they referred me to get my own because they were filled up. And when I tried to get my own they were supposed to give me a reimbursement, but I had a problem with getting it.

I've had generally good interactions with them, but there are hold times and things of that sort as well. I had an air conditioner out in my garage apartment. I was able to file a claim online. The technician was located and sent to my house. He assessed the problem and was able to fix it by replacing the thermostat.
