Had a recent claim on a Jenn air oven repair that was not covered by the company. I provided specific warranty information direct from Jenn air stating the unit was out of the two year warranty and Choice continued to argue that the unit was within the warranty period. I provided the original manufacture date and my installation date to no avail. I am very dissapointed that with all the leg work on my end the claim was not honored had to pay a repair company to fix the oven.

The tech was fabulous. Then Choice gave me the option of accepting a low amount of cash to replace my dishwasher ($200's) or have them replace the dishwasher. My mistake is I trusted Choice. I then found out a replacement would cost in the $400 range + $50 to deliver + $200 to install. And it had to be through Lowes. No option. This is my last transaction with Choice.

I have filed 2 claims, one took 16 days to get a tech, over that time period they assigned it to 2 unqualified tech (one did not work on gas, the other did not service the brand). Currently, I am still waiting for a tech to be assigned to a no hot water. The claim was put in on Friday morning and as of Monday evening still no one has been assigned. At best, this company is a joke and at worst they are a bunch of crooks and scammers.

They keep changing the contractor even when the contractor is telling us they can get the parts then they want us to pay a separate fee for getting new contractors and they won’t approve the contractor to fix issues it’s been going on for over a month and now we have to leave town for cancer treatment and they want us to re-open a claim when we get back and pay again for them dropping the ball not us and when we reached out to customer service they were extremely rude and keep telling us that’s just how it is, this has been a extremely bad experience and do not recommend to anyone else.

I am disappointed with choice home warranty. When I had to use it my tech could not get through to them to get the ok to repair my garage door opener. The phone would ring and then hang up he tried five or six times then called me and I tried calling and was hung up on too so I told him to go ahead and fix the garage door opener and I would file a claim but when I called and finally got a hold of customer service they told me I would not get my money back.

My claim for a replacement of a hot water heater was denied because it was an 80 gallon tank and they only cover up to 75 gallon tank . I’m not asking for an 80 gallon tank. I’m asking g for a 50 gallon tank, which would be less. I’m not asking to go outside the policy limit. The leaking hot water tank was installed when the house was built and I did not have a choice. As far as I know, an 80 unit tank leaks the same as a 75 unit tank; the only difference is 5 gallons and I’m asking to be replaced with much less than the policy limit.

What they tell you to sell you you find isn’t true if you have an issue. Most things aren’t covered. Took over a month to get my fridge repaired and still had to pay some out of pocket for uncovered parts. Dont waste your money, time and frustration!

They use faulty vendors that do not diagnose properly and then they deny your claim. When you appeal and show proof of a reputable company's invoice and assessment they continue to deny it.
