Horrible. You didn't even pay for all the cost of my fan when I pay you a monthly fee and an 85 dollar service charge. The fan was 150 and you paid 70. I had to pay the difference. That is not what I expected. Unexceptable.

My washer could not be fixed. So I'm suppose to get 343.00 dollars on a card at Lowe's in 30 days. Takes that long to get the card. So I have to be without a washer for a month because they Don't want to give their money up. By the way, can't get a washer that sheep.

it was going to take 2 weeks to get my air conditioning repaired in 100 degree days in Texas. we are also elders. That was terrible service time. Unacceptable. i would like a refund of balance of my contract. Was called in on June 21, 2024 said would repair on July 5,2024.

Very misleading company. They state they cover a list of things in your home but when you submit a claim they don't approve the claim stating they don't cover it. Very frustrating and not worth paying a monthly fee if your company not going to fix things that you say you cover.

I had a frustrating experience with Home Choice Warranty when my refrigerator wasn't cooling. The technician they sent couldn't do the work because he doesn't work on closed systems and couldn't add Freon. Now I have to wait another week for a different technician. Disappointing service.

No payment after claim was agreed. Filed claim with an paid and active policy. Said they would send me a check for the claim on dishwasher that was covered under the policy. I was unhappy with the settlement and canceled the policy after the agreement pay the claim. They refused to process the check. This is Fraud

I had a terrible experience trying to get my refrigerator fixed. After promising to fix it, the service never showed up or called back. It took over 3 weeks for them to inform me they couldn't fix it, with no communication in between. The whole process was a nightmare, with horrible service and communication from the start.

Listen to the reviews below. Stay away from this company. Worst ever. I had American home shield should have stuck with them. Latest issue of many the garage door spring broke, looked at the contract they literally dont cover anything if the garage door breaks except the motor. If you buy a high end whatever and they have to replace oh well you get the lowest end model of whatever you bought. And dont EVER let them tell you to coordinate your own service and they will repay you, because they wont. Doesnt matter what company you choose it is higher than what they would pay. They will make up whatever excuse not to pay your claim. Good luck in adjudication when they disapprove of your claim for whatever reason, one time didnt even get call back from person the other just say sorry we dont cover it oh well. JUST STAY AWAY!.

They do not replace your appliances with equal or greater value as they claim to, they cash it out at their cost which is about a third of what you can actually buy it for, which is also cheaper than their willing to pay to repair the item, they paid me $1100 to replace a $3600 refrigerator & now $400 to replace a $1500 freezer They have lawsuits in different states for fraud, I personally am filing complaints with the attorney general & the BBB DONT FALL FOR THEIR SALES PITCH they used to be really good I’ve had them for over 15 years but they said they changed a couple years ago, & they won’t tell you that, it’s in the fine print

This is the worst home warranty company I’ve ever dealt with. They stopped covering items that had been covered before. Same contract, same appliances, but they just made up lies as to why it was no longer covered. They also sent an insult of a replacement amount for another appliance when they no longer wanted to cover repairs. Horrible customer service. It has been an extreme displeasure dealing with them.

I have no idea why they would say that when it was working great until I had to put my claim in ! Even my ac technician’s said Choice Home Warranty is horrible to work with. It's been at least six/seven weeks since we called about two appliances and they are not fixed yet!! The refrigerator is in process of repair but the clothes dryer isn't being attended to! The repair company Affordable TV and Appliance came out evaluated the dryer, collected $65 and has done nothing else. Blames Choice for not approving parts. We're not happy.

Took a long while to get a technician. Tech wanted to replace entire shower faucet, you said no just washers and knobs. Now we have no precise control over the hot and cold water for shower. Drip almost completely fixed and we're still waiting for tech to return to fix the clunking sound hot water makes when faucet is turned on. Did you nix that too?

My built in oven needed to be replaced. and the only offer I got was $549, which I accepted as your representative was rude and abrasive and said that was the most as they only offer wholesale price and they do not offer replacement. She referred me to purchase an "open box" from Best Buy which stated parts were missing. A built in over on sale is close to $1,000, so out of pocket without installation was close to $500.00. What kind of warranty is this?

I can never get through to talk to someone about my coverage or if I need to explain about what going on. The only time I can talk someone when they are try to push renewal. I have had to pay full price out of pocket for services because I could not get through to someone at CHOICE. Most of the time the attitudes are horrible and unconcerned

Filing a claim is a lengthy and difficult process. The technician answered the original questions asked by the claims department. They responded with more questions, he responded with answers and for two weeks they’ve been going back-and-forth with questions and answers. Every time he supplies what they need they come back with more questions and still no results. Because of the length of time this is taking, I now have additional repairs that are needed not only to the part in the original claim but surrounding areas.

Very disappointed with a air conditioner repair that was denied. Vibration caused the brackets to break on the fan grill and the fan fell. They claimed that vibration was not normal wear and tear and therefore denied the claim. They were not interested in speaking to the technician directly even though he offered. Really disappointed with the lack of integrity of the claims review and appeals team. They obviously were not interested in hearing the truth as it would have required a major repair of around $850.

This was a nightmare. My fridge quit so I called them and it was 3 days before a technician came and he couldn't fix it, had to order parts. From there it was 1 month until a technician came to my house. One very stressful month. How long is one expected to go without a fridge. Finally we had to go buy one. No one communicated with us and phone calls only made me angrier. And they won't refund me for the service call . Don't do business with this company, they're terrible

- The claim from May 1, 2024 still has not been resolved for my overpayment of the service call for a Fischer Paykel dishwasher. - Each year, I start getting calls and texts from Choice asking for me to sign up early. The calls start about 3 to 4 months prior to the actual end of the warranty contract. This is annoying and has now become an irritation. - Calls to the Service Center are not answered but routed to another department and no action can be taken. - Calls to the Service Center are not followed up.
