Difficult to reach by phone, contractors read orders as narrowly as possible to nickel and dime copays, calls routinely disconnect and AHS will not call back. Contractors will leave a job half finished and leave if they feel the AHS order was not specific enough.

They will send out a technician to repair an appliance multiple times, while charging a $75 service charge every time, when they should just replace it. That happened to us with our air conditioning unit. It had a Freon leak, and for that reason alone it should have been replaced! But they just kept sending technicians out to refill.

They have the absolute worst customer service! I would NEVER EVER suggest or recommend this company to my worst enemy. Every time we call we have to wait an hour then end up getting disconnected. They never call back when they way they will and we are still stuck with issues with our A/C and damaged kitchen ceiling!!!!

Can't talk to anyone. Hold on phone over an hour and still no answer. Then hey disconnected. Trying to get a replacement washing machine... again no answer. Then when I get thru on internet... every option listed is not available. Plus they raised my monthly service charge twice without taking too me. Please!

They've changed in service they no longer pay for most of your Service parts instead you pay more once they take your deductible on parts. they cap the amount they pay leaving you to pay the contractor more

They sent repairman who said 2 appliances needed replacement as they were unrepairable. A week has gone by and I still haven't heard from American Home Shield to replace my cooktop and dishwasher. I tried calling twice and was placed on hold for over 2 hours. Still waiting to get appliances.
