After paying for the service for a few years, I had a problem with my AC. They did nothing to repair or replace the unit. They said something was rusty and they wouldn't cover it. I just replaced both condensers and both units and cancelled them. Before that I did have a problem with a clogged toilet and they said they would they would pay for it to be snaked but wouldn't cover the toilet being removed or wouldn't pay for it to be put back on. Just a whole lot of malarkey. Not worth the money I paid for all those years.

Disapointed with quality of service and technician. He replaced an entire condensing unit and the air conditioning still didn't work! he came back and advised that a control panel was needed. ChW refused to allow completion of claim and said this was a new claim related to the furnace and NOT the air conditioning system although the air conditioning remains the problem. I an starting to get the feeling that this is turning into a complete runaround!

After getting suckered into this scam we find out that they do not cover half (if any) of what they are supposed to! There is no recourse / customer service after a claim is submitted. Almost like a second job trying to communicate / resolve issues with them. I would suggest simply taking the money you would pay these people and put it into a ‘rainy day’ savings account for when something does break / go bad.

I understand the concept of selling warranties, but I feel like the sales person was very condescending and tried pushing me into further options that I did not want and he would not take no for an answer. The only reason I am a Choice Home Warranty customer is because I like the price for the services that are provided. I feel like because I mentioned I was a senior, I was being pushed into something I didn't want for more money after the sale.

When my heat went out they did a temerary fix & said the part I needed wasn't covered. What happened to if they're not able to fix it it'll be replaced. I had to find & pay for the part myself

There are better companies than Choice Warranty although I know, it’s a very competitive business area. When I did ask for a refund on some pool equipment, that was very expensive, they only pay for a pump and not be cost of putting it in. That was the most expensive part of the deal, along with the electrical work. Not one of my favorites, JB

Called Choice when the heating element broke on my gas hot water heater. Choice sent a technician up from Phoenix (about 100 miles away). The company claimed to have ordered the part. After a week of waiting (this was in November when the outside temperature was 40-50 degrees and we really needed hot water) the company said that the part was still on order. We ordered the part from Amazon and it arrived overnight. We installed it ourselves. Choice refused to pay for the part.

The 1st technician they were going to send had a problem and changed the appointment and didn’t show up for the second one and couldn’t contact him. Then they sent a 2nd technician who walked in the door took the money for the service call and walked out and didn’t even look at the dryer but sent a Diagnosis they said it wasn’t covered cancel them they aren’t worth the aggravation

My water heater began to leak. After having on of their approved repair companies visit to verify that a repair was not possible, I was told that a tank leak is not covered, They would only cover replacement parts, none of which were needed.

We had Choice Home Warranty for about 5 years. Every single thing we tried to make a claim on- they fought us on it! New refrigerator- $100.00! New Water heater-$50.00 they did not want to pay anything at all! New washer-had to fight with them to get anything at all! New microwave above the stove- again fought us with that. Refused to pay anything! Issues with roof- they paid nothing! And could keep going but you get it hopefully! I absolutely would not recommend Choice to anyone! They do not want to pay even though it is in the contract!
