I was denied coverage for duct cleaning because of lack of maintenance of my AC vent although I had JUST bought the house! So I was penalized for some thing the previous owner failed to do. Then on my second claim for my stove/oven needing to have a part ordered and repaired, I tech came and then, I had to call after a month of not hearing back and then again 6 weeks later. Then 8-weeks (two months!) later again trying to get resolution. Finally after I asked to speak to the manager, Eric, I received an email stating that my stove/over had to be replaced BUT instead of Choice Home Warranty providing a replacement they wanted to give me the opportunity to choose a stove/oven of my preference so they, instead, were going to give me an eGift card to Lowe's for $338!! I responded, to the email offer, that I did NOT accept their offer of an eGift card for $338. Instead I requested they either fix my current stove/oven OR (1) provide a replacement with the current features my current one (2) provide installation, and (3) haul off my old one. I now have a "case manager" assigned and have a 15-minute call scheduled for December 29.
