They are saying we had a power surge at my house and will not cover the cost of fixing my Air Conditioner when I never had a power surge. The technician had warned us that most of the home warranty companies come up with a reason to not have to pay and he was correct. I will not be renewing for another year.

Terrible experience. Took almost 3 weeks to fix my AC. Sent a few technicians before one could fix it. Turned out to be a somewhat quick fix. Last technician was great. Professional and informative. Customer service from Choice Home Warranty was not good. Had a few other claims they denied for various reasons. Would not recommend them.

Hire bad contractors and after two months we get one that says it cannot be prepared and now it has been three months and I still don’t have the money for my stove. I’m still cooking on a hot plate for three months and no oven. Let’s see Choice employees do that fit three months!!! Stephen Gartrell

Awful company with horrible customer service! They always find a way to not cover something. They will “call you back” in 24-48 hours but never do and when you call back you get the same answers! Waisted 3 months of my time for nothing with me calling every day to every other day! Awful!

I was suppose to get a call at 9am on a claim, no phone call, you lure customers into getting warranty when you have all these exclusions and don’t want to pay, you might as well just save your own money each month & pay for repairs, these warranties are a joke.

I have water leaking under my house and it took them over a week to find me a plumber. After the plumber diagnosed the issue, your company denied the claim. From what I have heard, that is standard practice. I have told my agent that bought it for me not to ever sell/buy another one. They are not worth the paper they are written on.

Not a good one! I had 2 homes with CHW. Now down to one(the first home, is a looooong story) they don’t stop until they get you; when it time for them to approve on a Water Heater or a Duck Work; they find all kinds of excuses to not approve the job.

A technician came out and I paid the service call fee only for the technician to tell me what the problem could possibly be and for Choice to deny my claim. What's the purpose of paying 50 bucks a month and a service call fee of 75 bucks for no service? It all seems like a scam.

Had a main line clog where I had sewage backing up into the house. It took them six hours to respond to me, and they couldn't get anyone out there to do anything until five days later. Ended up just calling a plumber myself. Definitely a nightmare to deal with.

They do not find repair technician for days or weeks. Put it on you to find one and claim you will get reimbursed only to deny the claim. Raise monthly contract rate and deductible fee without prior notice to customer. Stay away from them!

have claim # 127276064. Appliance co says problem is normal wear and and tear - you say no. Very frustrated and volt says they can repair for less that $200. How does a senior couple not use normal care when running a load maybe twice a week. Will certainly be very cautious when time to renew my house as well as my daughter's house.

Do not waste your time or money with this company - they are terrible. It's difficult to speak with someone, and when you do they're extremely rude. They pay maybe 1/4 of the cost of replacing/repairing and you're still stuck with a huge bill. Save yourself the heartache and stay away!!

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO ANYONE. YOU HAVE TO MANY LOOP HOLES AND YOU'LL FIND ANY EXCUSE UNDER THE SUN TO NOT COVER A REPAIR.
