The company did meet our needs. We had an urgent AC need in the south with 90 degree heat. They did not meet our needs and we had to hire our own technician. I explained that this was not acceptable and I got the response we will not cover reimbursement and no attempt to find a different company.

Terrible. They find a reason to deny the claim every time. Even the contractors they send out say that they don’t even like doing work for Choice Hime Warranty because of how they treat their customers. I will not be renewing.

Garage door opener won't work. I see that the spring has broke. Guess what? Not covered according to CHW because they claim it is part of the door and door-track assembly -- useless. I believe in Home Warranties -- just not this company. I will be looking for another.

Failed to provide service - hangs up when trying to cancel policy. Three attempts for service. Called the three contracted companies - they did not have appointments and they were not willing to work with Choice Home Warranty. Called Choice to cancel our policy and they just hang up on us.

Responded good, but denied service to fix a common house outlet located on our deck on our house wall. Had to pay $65 and then denied. It was the first time to use the warranty. Thinking about canceling the warranty and getting a refund of the five years we paid for.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Last year they sent incompetent ac repair out and now after Freon leak they won’t repair. They will do everything they can not to pay the claim. Even if they do they will wait as long as possible before they do pay it. I am canceling my contract. Run away. They are the worst!

I would not recommend this company to anyone, I've been with choice for about a year and a half, and the first time I need something fixed my claim was denied, I will be canceling my contract, I refuse to pay a company that takes my money but refuses to fix anything

Customer service is great. The problem with CHW, I bought the policy online through an agent. I asked the agent what was covered under the contract, and he acknowledged most everything. I received the contract, and I was so disappointed! In the contract, there were more exclusions than inclusions! Iwould not refer CHW to my friends.

Awful customer service. They don’t care about the customer. Their replacement cost for my over the counter microwave didn’t even cover half the cost to replace same item. They told me “brand, color, SiZE doesn’t matter.” Total joke!

Whenever there is an expensive claim, choice home says it is not covered. My cooktop needs to be replaced and they said they will replace but will pay only $338 when no cooktop exists at that price. I have to appeal and the earliest appointment is after 2 weeks when I do not have a cooktop to cook and feed my family.

I ordered service on my stove, and I received a message that the technician would be here between 1:00-5:00, today 4/28/2021. I received an update that the technician would be here between 3:32-5:02. I called at 5:10 and was told that the technician was here and no one was home. We were home and waiting for him.

This warranty is filled with loopholes that usually results in the owners having to pay additional fees outside of the deductible because only certain parts of typical repairs are covered. Wish I never referred people to this company.

Twice had people come out both time they said walls or floors had to be tore out called in other professional it was nothing like what your people said I will not renew because it could have cost me so much also when I asked for supervisor to call me no one did I had to pay out of my pocket 260. We are in our 4th day without hot water in our home. Choice home warranty is questioning the diagnosis from the plumbing company. Therefore they cannot get the parts needed to fix our water heater. Currently it could be another week before we have hot water. You would think their customers well being would be a little more of a priority.
