Every time I call for service it's a fight to get something repaired. It's never a fix on spot they always have to report it and then Tech comes back one Choice Home Warranty have approved. I have another warranty company who always fix on the spot and I have never had any major issues, I am going to switch.

Generally pretty bad service 1. First call out to deal with a water heater that the pilot light is not staying on. Claim denied and won’t fix it 2. Electrical problem. That was a good experience. Came and fix the problem 3. Dishwasher issue: technician did not turn up

I have been with CHW for three years. What I dislike most is the continual no shows of their Technicians. At least 90% of the time I have at least three no shows before an actual Technician arrives to my home. That equates to a lot of wasted time and money on my part. Sadly, the issue has not improved over the past three years.

Worst company to buy/use the warranty. I am using this company warranty for more than 1 year but they always rejecting my claims (total 3) by looking for exceptions even though these are not excluded in the warranty. Totally lost the confidence on this company. Waste of money and time with these guys.

My stove top went out, they offered me 338.00. The stove is 539.00 at Home Depot & then I would have to pay for some one to install it at an average rate of 90.00 per hour plus any parts used. Very unhappy with the small offer.

Literally nothing worthwhile is covered. I pay a $65 fee to be told what needs to be fixed isn’t covered. It’s redundant in payment. I could have paid $65 to just get it fixed! I truly feel if it’s an I covered service, no fee should be charged. It unfortunate that money is being taken for ZERO purpose. It helps no one.

I was told you were going to lower my deductible and to just let the guy that came to fix my appliance and again I got another answer. So I was not a happy customer. Just one more item that you find a loophole not to cover. Sent a serviceman out and he fixed it and left. Thirty minuets later he came back and said CHW refuses to pay claim. I paid the man $200 for his work and his gas money. Very sad company

I have a Freon leak in my air conditioner. I am in a no win situation. Choice Home Warranty will not pay for a leak test so the technician said they can not fix it and my claim is denied. I don’t recall signing or seeing a contract that stated a test to find out the problem would be denied.

I didn't know Home Warranty allow only cheapest product and they only allow replacement faucet which are not working. Technician replaced my high quality faucet with cheapest one in market. I don't think it will go far and will be on vicious cycle. Now I have 2 kinds of faucet in the same bathroom.

CHW says they reserve the right to determine if an item covered under the contract should or shouldn't have broke due to the age. If it breaks before they think it should, they say they don't have to cover the item. It was my understanding the warranty was was for the unexpected not the expected.

Horrible. They won't honor their warranty. 7 weeks without a functioning AC in the middle of a hot TN summer and CHW just keeps reassigning technicians and giving me the runaround. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB tonight.

They will not approve simple toilet repairs, but they will send a plumber to collect your deductible. The plumber will not have the authorization to fix it. He or she has to call Choice Home Warranty for approval after they arrive. CHW will not answer the telephone to provide approval, even though it’s during their business hours.

Our refrigerator has not wkd at all for over 6 wks. It was reported to CHW on 7/9/21. Finally got a technician out here yesterday, 8/16/21 . Now a part is needed & the projected arrival date is 9/23/21. If the ordered part fixes the problem, we will have been without our refrigerator for 2 & 1/2 MONTHS
