Not happy with the service at all. All three times someone has been to my house it has not been covered. Coils on a HVAC that stay wet was not covered, clogged to a pipe outside my house that connects all the pipes from the inside was not covered and heating element was not covered. I have spent over 4000.00 out of pocket to fix issues. What good is this warranty.

This company to me is not good. I’ve call them two Time for what I thought was covered. Each time Choice told me I wasn’t covered. You make your own decisions but I would not recommend this company. Very good customer service but won’t cover anything but my policy says it will be covered. Very disappointed in this company. I will not be renewing my coverage

I 'like' the fact that they are lightning fast to take my monthly payment but molasses slow to make any sort of payout on a claim. I have been a customer of Choice Home Warranty for years but after this fiasco with my hot water heater I plan on getting out of this program ASAP. Save your money and pay yourself every month instead and you will be much better off.

I would give a negative star but that is not an option. I didn't to pay via credit card but electronic bill pay. I just was on the phone with 1 of their representatives and because I didn't want to use a credit card as a form of payment the representative stated "We really don't need your business!" and hung up. Really!!! Was thinking of giving in and providing a Credit Cart to them but after that. NEVER!

I only had the services for a few weeks and I HATE it. I have never made any claims. I only called in for information on my coverage and due to the lies and bad customer services I received i decided to cancel. And even that was a hassle because no one would cancel my services or reimbursement... and remind you, i only had it for 3 weeks and no claims. However, it took a week to cancel and i still have not beeb refunded. Now, i am with a different company and a lot happier. I would not recommend this company to worse enemy

They are not able to dispatch people when you need them-only when their handpicked person is available. You are treated like an unwanted step-child. More shocking, they have people with extreme criminal backgrounds coming to your home because they do not do adequate background checks. Some vendors have also been sued numerous times due to doing defective work. need I say more???

I had a dishwasher that was worth 900.00 dollars and was told by a supervisor they would give me 179.00 they said according to them I could replace the same dishwasher for 179.00 and I said please do and install. I spoke to supervisor this morning who told me NO and told me not to expect a check in 30 DAYS for 250.00 dollars PERIOD!! This is not what there web sight says period.

When I bought the warranty the sales person went over covered items everything sounded good so I purchased the three year plan for both my homes filed a claim for leaky hot water heater they don't cover the tank just components of the hot water tank one would think the tank is part of the hot water system but not covered. I won't e en go into customer service because their is none very dissatisfied with choice will not use them again or recommend the to any one .

I enrroled for a 3 yrs protection, after doing the math realized thay That i could not aford to pay 3 yrs in a yr, called to change it, This time the answer was nota as quick ss when I enrroled , i was put on hold. 3 times each 20 mins or more, i had to call my discover and dispute already charges in transfer I lost my trust. This was not aclaim. , imagene what it will be to have a claim ?

Every time we had a claim there was a major negotiation. You didn't just pay your copay and get it fixed. They would find some way to say it was your fault and when we complained they would come back and say ok wee will pay this and have to pay the rest. I guess that is better than nothing , but what a hassle.

Worst company . I made two claims in one year. One was roof leak and the other was heating system. Both claim was rejected with lot of reasons that we don’t know. They say different reasons to deny a claim. My family was left in the extreme winter for a week with no heat. So my advice is a big “NO” to anyone looking to buy a home warranty ..

We got suckered into being a contractor for Choice Home Warranty with their smooth lies about how easy it was to use the system, etc. Horsefeathers! Their system has so many screens and complicated operations that it could not be figured out. Plus, claims under a hundred dollars allegedly didn't require a confirmation number, but in the end they do so they did not pay. Claims over a hundred dollars required them but even with them, they did not pay. Six of the seven jobs we did for them remain unpaid and now we're going after the homeowners because we haven't gotten response from Choice.

These people are still out screw every customer and find a loop hole when none are present. I've paid more in service calls than they have paid in repairs. I would put my money in a piggy bank before renewing my contract with these people. They think by not paying for the replacement and offering to pay 1/2 when the contract stating it's their responsibility they are doing me a favor. I truly hate this company and told the supposed supervisor on the phone as much. I will be cancelling my contract immediately and posting horrible reviews on every site I can find.

A bracket in my AC unit broke and started making noise, they would not cover it because it wasnt normal wear and tear, my unit is 17 years old and still operational what did they expect for it to last forever? For it to be as old as it is and still be functioning that should tell them i have been taking care of it. Also... insurance is for unexpected issues not normal wear and tear! Sorry American home Shield! I left you to save $20! I am coming back!!!!

Bad service by warranty company and provider , compnay refuses to cover anything it says it would , just took my money , but won’t pay out a dime! “Jacuzzi covered” BUT MOTOR IS NOT COVERED, what is the point. water heater “covered” BUT AGAIN actual heater not covered! PLUMBER THEY SENT LOOKED AND JUST SAID “need a new one” HOWEVER my own plumber came , fixed it! In 30 minutes! BAD COMPANY IN COVERAGE AND IN SERVICE THEY SEND! NEVER SIGNING AGAIN! Beware before u sign up to be “NOT COVERED”

After unsubscribing several times, several calls to them asking to be removed and calling and taking up the call takers time asking appropriate questions and then telling them I was just wasting their time like they keep wasting mine, I am still on their list. Something this simple.... I would stay way from there idiots at all costs.

Choice Home Warranty was a bad choice for me. You WILL be let down when you need their help most . This company is a total ripoff. They said they do not pay for water heater tank replacement!!. leaks. Do not learn the hard way like we did. DO NOT take out a Home Warranty from this company. They will just take your money. There is also a Facebook page titled, Choice Home Warranty Ripoff, making people aware of what a ripoff they are. Beware of these thieves.

Would not buy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Be forewarned, they do not cover major expenses. If heating system goes out they say it is not from normal use. Excuse me, but how do you say heating your home is not normal use. They also make you jump through hoops with your service contractor to explain what needs to be done. This company will then come up with reasons not to cover your claim. So sorry I purchased this warranty. They will cover items like ceiling fans and inexpensive repairs. They do not cover labor.

Service is terrible.Heating system went out last winter and was told it would be at least three days before someone could come out. Now I have an electrical problem and this is day three and no response.I was told they were unable to locate a electrician . Two years ago I had a plumbing problem and was over charged on my service call.They said I would get credit on my next repair.Still waiting,no refund no credit. I do not know why I continue to use this terrible company. One last thing,they must out sorce their calls to another company who’s employees hardy speak English.

Our heat pump unit failed; compressor and air handler. Our initial claim was denied based on CHW's designated HVAC contractor's examination of our HVAC unit stating that it "hadn't been serviced". We are in the process of proving to CHW that, within the year of our home purchase and warranty term, our HVAC unit was serviced, and in accordance with ASHRA standards and by a licensed HVAC contractor. This is a tedious process and while we go back and forth with CHW, our house temperature is in the 40s!

Very unhappy that I have to wait for parts to be ordered, then wait for them to come in, then reschedule service. Could be a week. Will have to go to laundry mat. This summer I had a problem with my air-conditioning when it was over a 100 degrees, it was going to take three days for a repairman to come. My Mom lives with me and she was having problems with heat, I couldn't risk it. I called a repairman and had it repaired myself. Not sure what good Choice warranty is.

I have had multiple home warranty companies over the year. Hold times, are usually pretty horrible. These guys take the cake for the worst. They also have yet to find repair people to service our home in CT (by the NYC border).. We have to locate our own people, submit long and tedious paperwork and cross our fingers they will reimburse us, which is never the full amount or even close to what we were billed by the repair people in our area. Please heed my warning and stay clear.

I just got off the phone with your supervisor, Keisha. I have no heat, your repairmen were here today, i need a stock blower, your claims dept did not get to it yet (as per Keisha), I have no heat!!! Your technician is ready to install and give me heat, but choice warranty is preventing that from happening NOW, It's 53 degrees here and Choice Warranty is holding up the process. I could have had heat without choice 1 1/2 days ago without you, right now a poor decision signing up with you guys and you want a good review?

Worst company ever!! They are just scam artists!! I would highly recommend that anyone considering using Choice Home Warranty review the lawsuit and settlement from the New Jersey Departmet of Consumer Affairs wherein New Jersey laid out in detail the deceptive practices that Choice Home Warranty engages in to avoid paying claims. Choice Home Warranty admitted no wrongdoing but paid $780,000 to settle. In my dealings with Choice Home Warranty they continue their deceptive practices to deny legitimate claims. Unfortunately I found out too late!!

I don't know how to give negative stars but I would if I could. Bottom line is that I'm having to move my family Thanksgiving Dinner in 2017 because Choice Home Warranty has not responded in timely manner nor provided good customer service. I have done everything they suggested and now I need to get a second company to get repair evaluation on a microwave oven that cannot be repaired because of parts availability. Shame on You Choice!
