They approved a freezer repair in June of 2021 then in September when I called to complain that part wasn't here yet they declined it. Ridiculous service. I spoke w someone to cancel my account amd they were supposed to call me back n didn't. Next warranty new cominaby. I'm a realtor...over 1 billion sold in 6 months owning 10 homes myself in trust. Lost my business. Great techs...terrible corporate

On my recent claim I was given false information by the claim technician. After following the instructions of that technician my claim was denied and was told I was going to have to pay out of pocket because it was not included in my policy. I was contacted by a very rude case manager and was told that the information given to me was incorrect and HCW was not going to do anything about it. Worst experience with every claim, I regret renewing my policy!

Your insurance process is more stressful then buying a house. Ive called over 3 times to get the claims accepted for the tech to come back and finish the job and every time i get ahold of my tech he says you guys only accepted one thing out of the 3 he sent in. There is now a giant hole in my wall and me and the kids have to drive across town to a family members just to take baths and showers.

This company is beyond horrible. I would give them negative stars if I could. I had multiple reputable plumbing companies come diagnose my hot water heater. They all independently said it was broken beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Yet a Choice Home Warranty representative sitting behind a computer in a different state said my plumbers were wrong and offered me 7% of what the plumbers said it would cost to replace the unit. Choice Home Warranty is a SCAM! Avoid this company.

I had a spout come off my laundry room sink's faucet. I put in a claim, the plumber came (very nice man) and said it had to be replaced. The threading was worn and it would not stay attached. CHW refused to pay for this - I had to pay the $60 service call and since I needed the sink, I paid for the faucet to be replaced. CHW said the sink had been abused. It certainly wasn't abused! I put an appeal in yesterday and was supposed to hear from someone today. I have heard from no one!

Horrible communication and no sense of urgency when you need help with an emergency situation. They made me wait a week and did not allow me to use another company to fix the water leak that I was having with two toilets. My family had to find creative ways to use the restroom until the appointment. The first company that was assigned never returned my calls after calling for 3 days I requested to have it reassigned several times after the 5th day of trying finally it was reassigned and the person that came out was much better with communicating.

I’ve had nothing but negative experiences with choice home warranty. They don’t deserve a single star. The lying actually began when I was talking to a sales person. There customer service is outsourced contrary to what the salesman said. I placed several claims only 1 was actually worked on. The appliance still is not working correctly. This is an absolutely HORRIBLE company. BEWARE!

I have been with CHW for 10 years and just renewed my contract. my salesman who promised me things had changed at CHW has already been caught misrepresenting what I purchased. I was told more local vendors have been added. Specifically told me a local plumber was now available. I tried just yesterday to use them and was told I don't have the ability to use my own technician after their tech didn't show up.

The company appears to be helpful and it has taken care of an issue I once had just as advertised. This the washer had a problem. It was too expensive to fix. They agreed they would write me a check, but only for $525. This will not buy a cheap washer on the market! I want one comparable to mine. They will not work with me! It was take it or leave it. It takes a month to get the check to me also. I will be canceling the service soon.

I have a toilet with extreme stress cracks. It could break at any time. Section D #9 says they will replace tank, bowel or mechanical parts. But not porcelain. The tank and bowel is porcelain, but won't replace it because of cracks. If the mechanical could not be fixed they would replace it. Don't make sense to me, the thing with comon sense is it ain't that comon. And they don't have any.

They always have a reason not cover the problem. When they finally can't find a reason, they offer you something less than a quarter of the replacement cost in a form of a coupon from an overpriced store. The coupon probably does cost them anything. After fighting with for weeks finally they agreed to send a $250 for a dish washer that's going to cost at least 800 plus installation.

I went with Choice Hime Warranty thinking that anyone has to be better than AHS, oh how I was wrong. I will give Choice credit for using a higher quality service companies, however, that doesn’t make up for the fact that you can email, call, and leave multiple voicemails to get your payment for a broken appliance, only to get absolutely no responses! I believe that since I requested to discuss the value that they were giving me instead of just rolling over and taking their initial offer, they have not responded hoping that I will just accept their original offer.

You have many good honest technicians that are cheated out of their money. The rules are so slanted that the customer and technicians don’t get paid. Next time I buy a plan it’ll be with honest people. All the things you say are covered are never covered. The customer and technicians are the looser. Another thing don’t keep blaming COVID for poor phone response.

Called Choice Warranty on Oct. 14 about a leaking outside water faucet. They sent someone to my home on Oct. 18 from Orlando which is a good 55 minute drive to my house. They denied the claim. My daughter had the same problem and has a different home warranty company (her faucet was fixed). I called a local plumber who installed a new faucet, replaced the stucco he had to cut through and was finished in 1 hour. Can't wait to see my water bill, plus paying Choice home warranty. Not happy

None of our experiences with this company have been positive. 1st claim was the refrigerator no one ever came, all the food ruined had to buy a new one. 2nd claim dryer tech said it needed a part and it would take 5 to 7 days, had to buy a new one. We have been trying to get the air conditioner fixed almost 2 months! So no we are not satisfied with this company and would not recommend it to anyone!

Denise claims that are less then 200$ after taking my 60$ for years. What's the point of having a warranty on an older house if you don't cover older pipes? Rust and corrosion exemption is a way to get out of paying your customers repair on older houses.

The sales person Rob, lest night, offered me 1 year at $429 and a free additional month. I rejected the offer. Then he offered 3 years at $429.00 per year and 6 additional months for free. So I would get 3 1/2 years home warranty for a total of $1287.00. I accepted the offer. When I received the e-mail of my purchase it was only for 13 mo. @ $429.00. I called and cancelled I cancelled this morning as soon as customer service opened. Rob deceived me!

After being a "member" for about a year, I tried to use Choice for the first time. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. I went a week without air conditioning (I live in hot South Florida) and there was still going to be another 3 to 4 days minimum for a repairman to actually come out to repair. I canceled Choice. I then picked up the phone and got an AC repairman to come in a few hours. Never again will I even think of using Choice!

Very bad insurance. Very bad customer support. Selling more than they actually providing. Not worth your time and efforts to deal with them in YOU HAVE NICE appliances. Coverage is very low. I've got broken expensive fridge. They offered only $490 and was not able to explain how their policy reflects in this number. They said that they are just having some sort of a chart that is only for internal use. This chart doesn't have any specifications or functionality that are stated in their policy. Very sad about my choice with them. Will not recommend.
