Given an Appointment time of 3-8pm for Feb 2, 2023. What a Complete waste of my valuable time. A complete No Call / No Show. I even called the number of the Plumber in my email, yet his mailbox was full and requesting to leave a text message. I’ve yet to hear back, and my afternoon / evening totally wasted. Don’t know if I’ll hear from you all tomorrow or not. But this is totally unacceptable.

This was my first time using CHW for a repair. My washer broke down (Friday), they sent a technician out 4 days later (Tues), we can repair it and have it working by Friday. We received an email and said they will give us an Lowes Ecard because it was, basically, to expensive to repair. Well the Ecard will take 30 day to get, so we said to send us a check, that will take 30 days also. Who can wait 30 days without a washer? I would rather buy a Lowes extended warranty and have FASTER and Better service than I have received From CHW.

I am not happy with this company. Last year I had a hot water tank issue at my home. The tank was 80 gallons and the warranty only replaces up to 75 gallons which I would have accepted. This year one of tbe radiators in my rental unit was leaking, the company decides it was installed improperly. I feel as if I at nearly 72 years old pays this warranty company monthly to deny claims. I’m telling everyone I know about my experience.

My microwave needed to be replaced. I was only given $191 which won't replace what I had. It cost $170just to install the new microwave plus $40 to take out the old microwave, That's $210 and my microwave will probably cost about $300. This totals $510, I was informed you don't cover the cost of installing the new microwave and that you only give the wholesale rate to replace my microwave. They don't tell you these things when you when you call for information. I think it's awful the small amount of money you give to replace an item. I'm very disapointed.

Choice Home Warranty SUCKS! Phoenix, AZ

DO NOT USE CHOICE HOME WARRANTY! THEY'RE THE WRONG CHOICE! I'm cancelling my contract with Choice because it takes too long to get things done. I had a renter go a week without AC in the summer trying to get approval and ended up having to pay for the entire replacement myself. Another customer went without a refrigerator until I bought a new one. Four months later it's still not resolved.

Choice Home Warranty sent a technician to repair my Kenmore refrigerator on December 21. It still has not been repaired and Choice Home Warranty is not responding to my numerous phone calls. I am told that someone will get back to me within 24 to 48 hours, but no one is getting back to me. I have four foster children and need to have a working refrigerator. I recently switched to Choice Home Warranty. I’m wondering if I made a grave mistake

This dryer was used by my husband and I alone and this occurred from normal wear. It is unreasonable that you should decline this. This is the second claim we have requested and been denied is ridiculous since we are both over 75 and don’t use our dryer daily since we bought the contract with choice. I might be going back to American Hime Shield. I bought a home warranty for a piece of mind for my home. I never expected to have issues with my home denied. I will be letting all of my friends, relatives and network know about the fraudulent practices of this company

I have had a miserable experience with a broken water heater. I have gone almost a month with a non working water heater over the holidays and I’ve just been reassigned a new service provider. So no telling when it will be fixed/replaced. The manager I spoke with made no concessions or offered any kind words Not even a call back. They only call to make sales and they do that incessantly He told me they don’t do things quickly. I’m not sure why it says amazing on this review I can’t remove it they are definitely not amazing

Poor service and hard to contact if you are a people person If you do decide to buy a contract ask for a printed copy you can read because they will use every loop hole they have installed in that contract They will try to get out of paying and if you use it they monitor what they have spent on your repairs and will try harder not to pay reason for 1 star

Most times they are very difficult to get ahold of. When you file a claim, you have to find your own repairman and then he has to send in a quote to Choice Warranty to get it approved. This can take up to two days. That's very inconvenient when the repairman is already at your house. They've also dealt with some repairmen that are known to be shady and untrustworthy.

They scheduled an electrician for Friday January 6th between 3-8 p.m. and after he didn't show up, we called him and he said that he told them that he couldn't do that time. He scheduled a different day and time with me. Then the CHW system rescheduled the appointment, and locked him out of the system, so he could not contact us! So when he didn't make the next appointment, I was really angry. My whole house's electric wiring is faulty and you guys are screwing around! No wonder American Home Shield is #1 in the industry!

The customer service has gone down over the years. The service representatives can not speak or understand english well. The service reps that CAN speak English give you an attitude. The company now takes a week to get a service technician. I would go on but ther is a limit for the review.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any industry / service I have ever received. It came with the house I unfortunately made the mistake of choosing Choice. Once the warranty expires, I will not make the mistake again of choosing Choice Warranty. I submitted a claim on Nov 25 for my fridge and it was not fixed until Jan 3. The fridge is still not completely fixed either, the ice maker does not work. They had also cancelled a claim I made on the AC when I told them not to cancel it. Please save yourself the mistake I made and go with another Warranty Company.

A premature determination was made in our case with our plumbing leak. No technician had a real look at the situation but Choice Home Warranty already rejected our claim. I even appealed the determination but was out right rejected even after explained to them the circumstances. I'm disappointed in this service and will be looking for another home warranty company.

No accountability. Case managers are rude and unwilling to help when you have an issue. Info provided about repairs is unreliable so you’re caught in the middle of Choice and technician. Service providers do not like working with Choice because they have a reputation for being unreasonable with difficult processes and policies. Customer loses out as a result. There have always been delays in the repairs I’ve needed and 2 out of 3 times, Choice refused to cover parts that the technician clearly said were needed for the repair.

My request for service was assigned to Sears appliance repair and scheduled for December 27th. After waiting nearly all day a mail message was received saying they had rescheduled to January 16th. Two emails to Customer service at Choice for another repair service and sooner date have gone unanswered. Very poor customer service. This is not the first time this has happened however we have had a couple of uneventful service repairs. It's kind of hit &miss with Choice.
