Its a good value.. Out of 3 claims all were attended to in less than 3 days. One was for an HVAC condensation pump which was replaced on the first visit. The oven claim took 2 inspections and a month after they still haven't delivered the replacement oven. A sump pump claim was dismissed because they claim it was rain and not normal tear and wear which damaged the pump. When they sell or renew they don't explain that there is a $50 visit fee. Also, their definition of normal tear and wear is too subjective and biased to their advantage. I rate them a C++ or B--

I placed my claim on Sunday and got my under-the-sink leaking garbage disposal replaced by Wednesday. Initially, I was scheduled for Friday; however, I called LDK, LLC, and they came and did an excellent job. Mr. Diego Sossai was very gracious and professional.

The initial process for making a claim is very easy and accommodating effort from the responding representative. Unfortunately, the overall process once the claim had been made and the technician/service provider has been assigned is where the lag in service begins. After the service provider comes out to make an observation to access the need: if the repair is not perform upon first contact, at that point then the back and forth between CHW and the assigned provider causes a problem for the client who has requested the claim for service. A speedier process for keeping your clients happy and satisfied should be placed at fore front when decisions need to be made: Client getting a quick resolve to repair should be considered in order to preserve the Quality of Service with the Customer in Mind. I was pleasantly surprised with this claim: The technician came out at the assigned time ( one week after the initial claim), the technician fixed my dryer the part was replaced, the same day, which was unexpected. I did not have to wait another one or two week for a decision to be made for the best cost effective decision

They sent a serviceman out the same day as I called. Unfortunately, due to the lack of available parts it took a while for repairs which ultimately could not be completed as an important component was no longer available. I was disappointed that it took a couple of weeks for a decision to be made by Choice on how to handle it and then almost a month to receive what they offered towards a replacement appliance. Still I am told by friends using other companies that this seems to be home warranty system wide.

Fuse HVAC & appliance repair did a good job of trouble shooting both the washer and dryer. Their follow up with parts and scheduling for new parts to be installed was also good. We had a little trouble understanding Vladimir O english explaining the problem with both appliances and installation but were able to add enough of our thoughts of what he was trying to communicate and got the answer to our questions. He did a great and thorough job and we are very pleased.

Sanchez AC replaced my AC unit in a very efficient manner but the inside unit still did not engage. After thorough diagnostics they found problems with my inside blower. They were able to pinpoint the problem and replace the defective parts. My AC is currently operating like new.

Any time we have had to submit a claim, CHW has always found a great technician quickly and kept us updated on the status throughout the whole process. We are still under the one-year warranty service that the seller of our home provided, but we plan to continue paying for CHW once this year is up.

My water heater was leaking real bad. I made the claim via phone around 9am. I called twice to check to see if it had been assigned to a plumber vendor because I had questions about what I could do since water was all over my garage floor. I was sent an email around 3:30pm but it went to my SPAM folder so I didn't see it until 6:30pm and the plumbing company was closed. I called another 24 hour company who told me I should drain the heater. I didn't read my contract which stated the tank was excluded until after the plumbing company advised that CHOICE would not cover the replacement. I should have been calling local plumbing co's to see if I could get a good deal on a water heater replacement instead of CHOICE in this case, My bad!!

In the beginning I was going to drip them. But they came out even though it took long time to get parts for my refrigertor. They did get them and fix it. Then I had a leak. The plumber that first came out cracked my counter, Plus he said the could not find the leak. We had to break the wall and the leak was right where we told him it was. There was apiece of wood he took off the wall under the cabinet and said there was no leak. which there was. So i had to call them back and they sent a different guy out and yes indeed the leak was right there. Then I got a letter they were raising the price. They made an agreement to keep it where it was. .They came out and fixed my Acir conditioner and they did come out the next day The guy was great. So I stayed with them. I hope going forward they do the right thing. I did write to them about the cracked counter. But no one called me. So we will see. They are ok. they do call you back right away most of the people they sent out were good. The only thing I do not like is that on most repairs they do not send someone out for 3 days. I d not think that is right especially when you have an emergency flood.. We shall see how they do going forward.

First of all, I had only been signed up for like a minute and a half and I was asked to do a survey. I have no idea of my overall rating at this point because I have only been a customer for two minutes. I can tell you that the salesperson I spoke to was not very reassuring, as he spoke 80 miles an hour and did not stay on the phone long enough to answer my questions. I thought maybe I would find my answers on the Q&A page but I didn't so I will have to make another call one day this week for my answers. IF CHW follows through on their promises then I am sure I will be able to give them 5 stars so until then....to be continued.

Liked good responses from Choice Home Warranty on my claim. I didn’t like response from EMS HOME SERVICE which was the home service provider selected to repair my air conditioner. EMS customer service and communication was horrible. Their customer service representative, schedulers and repair technicians didn’t appear to be communicating with each other which resulted in a significant delay in service of my AC repair. I give EMS Home Service an overall rating of one star.

I feel that I saved money. However, I disliked being caught in the middle between CHW and the repair company. Most independent repair men do a good job, have problems with CHW as well. Due to this situation, takes a month or longer to get anything repaired. Most of the repairmen come from 45 minutes away. They get approval but don’t want to go that far for one job. So they wait until they can do several at a time and if they don’t get to your repair that day then the wait is weeks longer. I have heard they give very little for the appliance much less than an insurance adjuster would have to pay.

He came and flushed the hot water heater, nice guy. Asked to use my ladder and my hose to connect it to drain out my basement door. There was no other diagnostic or cleaning of the hot water heater, as I am sure we have some lime build up. With use, we will have to see if the flushing/draining of the hot water heater will make the difference or if addition cleaning of the bottom of the hot water heater is/was warranted. Tech said that he was going to have his company to contact me about putting in a whole house lime filter. They have not done so to date. Hinted it would be by EOD.

Let's really review when I need to use it. Just joined yesterday, price was good. The salesman Matthew was obnoxious, by the way I called them. Wanted to know some coverage details and continously got what's holding you back all we need it a CC . I explained I needed to speak with my husband when he got out of the shower. The guy kept pushing like a car salesman, it was crazy. Depending on where you look Choice has great reviews, then another site they are horrible. I will post a review after I have tried dealing with getting whatever fixed. To ask me to review now is obsurd especially with that kind of salesman.

The actual service has been fine - I'm happy with the value proposition offered. However, what is unacceptable is their non-stop incessant email marketing (literally 3-4 emails per day promoting offers to buy a home warranty.) I'm already a customer!!! It's beyond annoying especially in light of my attempts and requests to get them to stop sending me these emails. The company lacks listening and professionalism when they won't remove a current customer from their sales and marketing lists.

I dislike the fact that the warranty would rather try to “fix” junk that is going to end up needing to be replaced anyways; instead of replacing it. The cost of the warranty and the fact that it’s a “fix” only kind of policy seems rather high priced. I paid for the “top of the line” and added on pool and spa coverage. Seems I’d be better off putting my money into a “HOME Repair Account” because I had to pay regardless. Ultimately, I blame myself for not researching the policy further before purchasing and I also blame the warranty company for not really being honest about the coverages and letting me waste money.
