Still waiting on reimbursement . I got 5 different stories from 5 different people. First it was 3 to 5 days, then it was 12 to 20 days, then 13 to 30 days and finally up to 45 days. I was the charges would be reversed on my PayPal credit card, then I was told a check was issued. Just a big mess. Very disappointed, considering up to that point everything was fine.

Can't get a "clear english speaking" customer service rep for one thing! Also, I had a repair done on my dryer and it quit working with the same issue 31 days later and the pakistani guy named "eric"(?) Ha!, said it was beyond the 30 days and I would have to pay another service charge! I WILL NOT renew this contract and I don't care how many free months you offer!!!!!

I have been working with CHW for two months to get my dryer repaired. There have been two technicians out and they both gave the same diagnosis. The required parts to repair it have been discontinued but the manufacturer. CHW refuses to resolve this matter.

Horrible, cannot reach by phone, have to use internet. They hardly pay anything. I had the for 3 years + and refuse to renew. The last contractor I had out I had to pay because Choice refused. I even had to make an appointment on line to talk to an adjuster and then they didn’t call so here I went again to go on line and schedule another appointment. They are rude. Do not subscribe with choice.

If an appliance fails and can no longer be repaired, Choice gives a ridiculously low amount towards the purchase of a replacement. Other home warranties I’ve had purchase a unit with similar features of yours AND install it. Choice didn’t even install my new microwave.

The warranty seems like a good plan, but we have submitted 3 requests for service and so far only one has been successfully completed as schedule. We have had 2 cancelled the day of the appt because it turns out the technicians don't work on the brand of equipment.

They take a long time to service requests. Seem to have enough clauses in their agreement to get out of fixing the items. They make money in cancellation fees from their customers. It's next to impossible to get anyone to call you back. Customer service has definitely been trained to deny customer as much as possible. I HIGHLY discourage people to even consider Choice Home Warranty.

Because after a technician came to our home explaining to Choice Home the exact nature of the problem, the Choice home representative told the technician and myself that they would cover the whole cost of the repair. It was confirmed! Then Choice Home went back on their word and said they would only cover the labor cost of the technician. I lost all respect for them doing that and will not recommend them to anyone unless they cover the whole cost after confirming it. Very unprofessional to go back on their word and change their minds. Unacceptable!

Choice is difficult to work with and takes too long to fix issues. Unless a part had to be ordered American Home Shield was much quicker at responding to and solving problems. Customer service also isn't what I expect. Choice seems more likely to deny claims. I am not really happy and the contractors sent out aren't very professional.

Their procedure of having to approve any repairs before the repair does not work in Hawaii. Six hour time difference does not work as the office is closed before the technician can request the repair. For a rental property we cannot wait two or three days after already waiting for an appointment with the technician.

The subcontractors are not following through. We needed to gix the refrigerator, but the person that Choice sent out to fix the freezer needed to order a part. That was over two months ago and he never returned to replace that part, so my refrigerator and ice maker still broken. The individuals that they send don't return when they say they will.
