I had an appointment for dryer vent cleaning that was confirmed via email the day before service was to be done. On the day of service I received a text stating that there was a conflict with scheduling and that my appointment was canceled. No call, no explanation or attempt to reschedule. Very disappointed.

Plumber sent a quote without details of repair. We are not confortable paying for repairs without details. We know the leak location is something they found but since we’re paying customers we would expect more detail so we can understand how the repair will be made and what a warranty period there would be.

I called AHS about a stoppage; AMPM Plumber came out, said he couldn't reach stoppage with his snake. I ended up calling Deer Valley Plumbing; the guy came out and said the stoppage was 15 feet away and he cleared it up. Cost me $280.

AHS poor customer service! If you can speak with anyone and with retention department, the customer service representatives stall. ex: 12/08/22 they scheduled a second service call, 12/28/22 the called and stated they, AHS, cancelled the service dispatch. I had the Platinum Package and AHS finds more ways to get out of their warranty services.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Have been without heat for 4 days and the company they sent had a delay and no feedback regarding diagnosis. AHS refused to pay and had to get another company out to fix. Complete waste of money!

Claim was denied due to their hired pool company technician's incorrect opinion. Pool technician told AHS that filter panels were broken due to unusal wear and tear. Had a different pool company come out and investigate my issue and they indicated that pool filter panels were broken due to usual wear and tear over time.

Last May I had to buy a new A/C unit because AHS kept disapproving, not paying for whatever services/repairs, etc. was need it for my unit. To make things worst I have to start paying almost a $100 per month on my new contract starting in October. I am seriously considering switching to LifeTime Home Warranty.

Horrific. You pay over a hundred a month then have to pay over a hundred every time you need someone to come out to your home. The customer service people have extremely poor English and hard to understand. You have to not have a job because you can only schedule an appointment from home up until 3:00. This company is a rip off and a joke!

Our A/C has been broken for 3 weeks, we live in Phoenix, Az with temperatures above 110 and American Home Shield will not replace our A/C!! My mother is 75 and I have Type 1 Diabetes!! If you want to live STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! There is this little company with an acronym, BBB I think it's time to give them a call!!

My air conditioner went out. The compressor went out and I needed a new one. American Home Shield was going to pay for it,but not the Freon. I was going to need 10lbs of Freon. Turns out that the Freon was $150 per pound and they would only pay $10 a pound and I would have to pay for the rest. I had to buy a new air conditioner.

They did not complete a service call and sent out someone who was unable to fix the issue and have never solved the issue. They have said multiple times they were cashing out and then they don’t. I had to call my own plumber and have it fixed on my own plus they charged me $75.

AHS is a scam, save your money. Go with a different company. My dishwasher has been leaking for over a month, the cabinets are wet and baseboard below dishwasher is wet. All these need to be replaced. I will also get mold problems soon. And everyday I call AHS and I get the same excuse that I have to wait.

On 3 May I called to fix my A/C but AHS didn't do anything at all. I ended up paying $1,000 for lodging and ended up paying $7,500 for a new unit. Plus the $75 AHS fee + $511 for freon that it wasn't need it = a total of $8,086 that paid and AHS paid 0 nor assisted me at all.
