They wrongfully denied my claim. They initially repaired my water heater. When the repair didn't work and they determined it had to be replaced they denied it saying there was pre-existing damage. They only decided to deny it once the more expensive claim was filed. Seems exceptionally dishonest. I would not recommend them to anybody.

I filed a claim for a leaking water heater. A man was sent to check it out. I received a call from AHS but could not understand what he was saying. In the meantime I have replaced the water heater including installation at my expense. Please tell me what is going on? Thank you.

The website sucks and response is too slow! I must make multiple attempts on different days to request service. Contract numbers fail to be found in the phone validation system. Service request cancellations and refunds unreliable. And you have the gaul to raise your fees $300 in a single year.

I filed one claim for a pool limb that failed. They sent out a shyster pool company that installed an old pump that was making grinding noises. I complained and had no resolution. I bought a new pump but am still holding on to the junk pump in case anyone cares.

OK SUN

American Home Shield need to improve on giving details on what is covered and not covered. Pro-Tech charged 100.00 just to clean our dryer. They was late and I had to call them.

If it wasn't paid upfront by another person I would cancel. They never get back to me after multiple calls for the same issues, only promises that someone will get back to me. They send service persons that are extremely rushed and don't complete the jobs. The "technician needs to speak to AHS and will get back to you" but they never do.

I do not like this company. It has been 10 years of run arounds and I'm tired of wasting my money. The reps lie, the contractors lie, it's always "that's not covered, it will be an extra $..." Most of the time I have to tell the contractors what to do because they act like they don't know how to do their job. Ridiculous!!!

Extremely poor customer service. They sent someone out to replace my faucet but after taking it apart, they said they couldn't fix it and just the job unfinished. When I became upset and said I would sue them if they didn't finish the job she said "we have a lot of lawyers to prevent that from happening.

I have to contact AHS many times to accomplish a task when there is a problem! I have been working with AHS since October of 2022 to get an invoice for a service that was completed on October 21, 2022! I have also had issues with several service companies being rude and inconsiderate when there is a problem to resolve!

AHS charged my banking account twice within three days of the monthly contract amount. I called and was out on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected me. I want to also cancel my contract and no one allows me to do that as well. I am put on hold to investigate the double charges or to speak to someone to cancel my contract and get disconnected.

We had to get a new washing machine (which was free from AHS), however it came without a pedestal, so my elderly mom & aunt are having difficulty getting the clothes in & out of the washer. Now we can not find anyone to install a pedestal for a reasonable price.

Knowing you have to do business w/ a company that you provide ( Loews) or you cannot replace your appliance is a rip off. If you could buy an appliance then send an invoice to get pd back you would not need insurance. You would have enough money to pay for your needs. Totally unfair to the consumer.
