After 3 months and 1 week my range is still not completly repaired and no action on AHS part. After 2 months and 1 week my refridgerator has not been repaired at all and no response on AHS part. All they can tell me is sorry sorry sorry but nothing is getting done. Very poor service.

Terrible customer service and very expensive. I have two accounts with American Homshield since 1998. When my renew comes up this year I will be choosing another warranty company like Choice warranty. To bad I did like AHS for all those years. They need to look at completion and see what mistakes they are making.

Don't waste your money, they take forever to have repairs completed (you have to beg them to come back after initial visit). If item is determined non repairable will take months to get a replacement and don't even bother with cash out option, they will never reimburse you for agreed price.

When we had a claim for a water heater problem. The plumber said he would replace the water heater but he attacked on over $1000 of modifications that were not required. Also another plumber said it was just a leaky valve. And the water heater was just fine

Trusting that AHS, would be there for me is an understatement, they do not care what situation they leave you in, but that fee will come out of your account every month, the customer service is a nightmare, do not return calls but lie and say they did, not understanding at all. Coverage is staged and not honored, it is a scam.

Terrible customer service, on the computer answering system for 30 minutes. Send out a AC sevice tech, the guy tried selling me a part that I didn’t need for $300.00 . Told him to forget it and he got in his van drove off, never check my AC system didn’t absolutely nothing. That cost me $100.00

Absolutely horrible to get a hold of product replacement Called 1-800-326-6710 option. For different times minum Waite was 47 minute to a max of 1:15 and nobody ever answered When calling 1-866-282- 3873 Customer would let me talk to anyone and said supervisor wasn't available

Customer Service Dept - I am constantly placed on hold for 1 + hours, then hung up on having to call again to experience the same cycle. I requested a service repair, told to wait on parts then three weeks later advised the product must be replaced. It’s as if my time & inconvenience does not matter. Poor Customer Service!!!!

I have now been waiting for Rachel to call me back for over a month. She is supposedly one of the supervisors and promised she would be getting back to me but every time I call I have to wait on hold for 45 minutes for some operator to tell me she's going to call me back. This is so unprofessional and not good customer service

They sent a crappy company out that wanted to replace my whole bathtub and said they would for my deductible and then they wouldn’t and they sent another company out and fixed my plumbing and they want to double charge me, I call them multiple times but I don’t have an hour to wait to talk to someone.

The approve a duct work repair and sent someone to fix it. The guys couldn't get under the house because of the low crawl space. So American Home Shield sent another letter saying my service request was denied because of animals damaging my ductwork. Reported the to BBB, but nothing was done.

Average repair time is four weeks and calling customer service takes at least an hour on hold. I have had a broken washer machine for three weeks and received a letter that the problem was resolved. When I called I was on hold for two hours, only to talk to someone that promised to call be back. Never received that call!

My refrigerator died it took 6 days for a repair man to come check it and I'm still waiting for a replacement compressor. I don't feel after spending$16,500 through the years with AHS I should be waiting weeks without a refrigerator. With a 94 y/o & disabilited person in household

Poor, poor service. Some of the contractors are the worst. They give no variety of time schedules and report that we need to accommodate the contractors. I found they treat the customers very poorly! Customer service is the worst, you are on hold forever!!!!!

The AHS is one of the worst companies I have ever business with. It is difficult to get service when you need it in your home. The Customer Service is not responsive. When you try to call the AHS, waiting time is more than 1 hour. It is very difficult to even to cancel contract with the AHS. I am going to file a formal complain to BBB.

Customer service is terrible. They will answer the phone in a heartbeat if you are starting new warrenty but if you need a warranty honnored forget it! Our heat is out and we've waited on hold all day to speak to someone about getting our service call upgraded to an emergency. That is ridiculous!

Customer service is horrible. Most of the time it takes over an hour to get to a customer service representative when you call in. If you have any urgent needs, the reps are very unhelpful in getting any timely service. I've asked to speak to a supervisor & the reps will refuse to put a supervisor on the line.

Worst company to deal with an hour on hold all the time, just a waste of time from start to finish. The quality of professionals that are assigned to projects are well below average, most have horrible reviews. I would never choose to do any type of business with this company.
