A scam at best. They don't approve claims based on your experience just what the inspector assumes happened to my duct work. I own the house and not once did anyone ask me about how the duct work has been from the time I purchased the house to now. Customer service folks are subpar.

I don’t know where to begin. I had to jump through hoops to get my toilet repaired. And then I needed someone to come back out and was never able to make it happen. Every time I call, I get someone that speaks English as their second language and it’s very frustrating.

Customer service is a joke. Came out in a week, I had to follow up on the part a week later, tech didn’t know what parts he needed when he did come out, didn’t come back that day or when he said he would, when the repair didn’t work I had to start all over again. If it takes more than 1 visit good luck

Junk. Won't cover the things that you have the insurance for when buying a new house, such as water pouring into your dining room from a failed shower drain. AHS told us it was because we "abused" it. What BS. I did the work myself. You should too.

The drywall man did a horrible job on my wall. He did not smooth out the mud he put on the wall and he left all the mess he made putting up the Sheetrock, pieces of Sheetrock were all over the floor, up the steps and and in the foyer.

Scam!!! First of all, they make you pay $89.95 just to submit a claim, even if no one comes out, and this is on top of the huge price you just paid for the contract. The worst is; If a contractor they assign doesn't respond, they have no way for you to contact them to switch to another vendor. You are on your own, and you hope for the best.

Dryer not working since initial work order of Jan 5. 5 months without a dryer. 2 boards have been replaced and still will not dry. Issued another recall and tech will not respond to customer service. I have asked for another technician but they refuse to help me.

Customer service is awful. I have been waiting since January to get my roof fixed. Every time I call they say they need a different document from the roofing company. Everybody seems to be confused. Nobody ever responds back to you and it takes a long time to get a hold of somebody on the phone.

AHS provides good coverage however the contractors that are selected are the reason I will not be returning as a customer. It quite literally took over 100 days to get a furnace completed. As of this message, it has still not been inspected. I would rather pay twice amount for an even sub-par experience.

Hope Shield services are not at all trustworthy specifically when it comes to plumbing issues on which Home Shield takes pride and uses in its advertisements. Their contracted plumbing company is not responsive and its plumber was rude to me on last year's service dispatch and the problem was never fixed.

I requested service for an issue that isn’t covered in my contract. Instead of advising me of the issue, AHS charged me for a consultation only to have the individual show up to my house and tell me that the issue isn’t covered. It was a waste of money.
