It's a little upsetting that I pay for warranty and it seems that nothing was covered by warranty to replace my water heater. I also had to follow up multiple times and struggled to get any kind of answer on when the water heater would be installed. It makes me wonder why I pay for warranty if it covers nothing.

Had a visit with the technician over a week ago, and have not heard back from American Home shield. In my experience with a/c and furnace repair, it doesn't have to take this long to resolve or repair the unit. Not really happy with the situation.

It's impossible to get help! The reps are hard to understand and don't know what they are talking about. You ask for a Supervisor, there's none available. They tell you someone will call you back and they never do. You sit on hold for hours to get bad customer service and your issues unresolved.

Because they don't actual repair or replace anything. They come out and inspect the problem, and then ask for thousand of dollars in parts that "aren't covered" before they will fix the problem. That's not how a warranty works.

They have always been a pain to deal with. Most representatives are uncaring and lack empathy. Only 1-2 reps I dealt with actually seemed to care. Nearly all of my claims have been denied. Not sure why I continue to give this company $750+ per year.

Does not have contractors in all areas for repairs. Failed to inform me of finding my own contractor and getting prior approval. Failed to allow me to speak with a supervisor after dispute of covered repair. Charged my credit card and NOT processing my claim.

They do everything they can not to fix the issue. Even when the contractor admits it needs to be fixed the company dr uses it. I've waited almost 2 months for a microwave repair and the microwave is now causing a fire hazard.

I have been getting the run around for weeks after the contractor lied. I call every few days and get the same BS response that nothing can be done until the contractor submits their report. No follow up from your company. My freezer remains broken and I will NEVER recommend American home shield to anyone.

Plumber came out to review for a leak which I explained that I thought it was the toliet. He looked at the toliet and advised it wasn't leaking. Called today to speak with camacy who not helpful and overtalked me which is rude. I requested a supervisor which I was advised I had to wait on a callback. Why!!!!!

So far my experience has been, the employees read from a script and don't tell the truth. Their Indian accents are very hard to understand. Each issue I have called about I was told one thing. When I called back the story changed. I am still waiting for my check.

I have been dealing with this company since February, finally after the two plumbers that knew nothing. Now I'm having air conditioning problems and AHS wants to send the first plumber back out here. I was denied when I ask for the contractor that fixed my plumbing.
