American Home Shield used to be a great company, but now they offer horrible coverage. They covered very little of my Well repair. They charge 5 times more for a monthly plan and offer less coverage. I will be canceling my plan with them.

I have been fighting to get my water heater, faucet, and toilet fixed since January. The company they had came out, took pictures I guess and said no straps on heater... the same heater that AHS contractor replaced years ago and added the necessary straps! so denied! I would like to see the photos that were presented bc we have straps!

Bait and switch on renewal. Claimed that they couldn't give me a price that I qualified for sue to economic conditions, the changed to say bc I wasn't a new customer, the it changed to I had filed to many claims which excuse is it? Pick one. None of which are written in the contract

I still have an open ticket from January and repeatedly call for resolution. The contractor sent to our house basically ghosted everyone and never gave a diagnosis, so nothing was done. No one can help at the customer service level and the other unit they refer the case to repeatedly fails to follow up.

Their complete focus is to get your money and to do the least amount of work possible to fix your appliances. We were treated so poorly, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

No one to talk to about the problem to and nothing has been done for 1 month. Can't get an answer from the Whitney plumbing company! Have call you and them no less than 50 times NOTHING has been done and NO call backs. Will probably cancel you service, as will my daughter for her apartment. A service provider can insall a low grade compressor in your refrigerator that hums and vibrates. AHS says to bad. We do not cover noise and vibration.

I been with them for over 2yrs and never filed a claim. I live in FL & my AC went out 2 weeks ago today. 1st repair visit it went down again hours later. Waited a few more days for 2nd repair visit and now being told it could be THREE MORE WEEKS before parts arrive! I am NOT happy. It's 95 degrees in my house & my poor little support dog OMG!!

They try to nickel and dime you. They don't add notes when you ask them to, the other reps can't see notes. They never know anything unless you tell them the dates and prices. They don't try to resolve the issue they just want you to open non stop work orders. Most of their contractors aren't good and bandaid your issue.

They would not pay for repair to our a/C. Said because of wear and tear. We pId for the highest warranty which states wear a d tear are covered. They said we owed $850. Our a/C is stillnot fixed. I had just re ewed our contract but cancled it. This should have been paid under our policy that we had in effect until August 10th
