AHS would not give me the $Total under my contact to replace my home heater system . Only gave me what was not covered to modify new heater unit! Very dissatisfied the way AHS handled this change out of my heater unit.

It is extremely difficult to work with AHS. There is a high degree of customer involvement in coordinating with the technicians. Many hours are spent on the phone. The technicians don't fully complete work and AHS will double charge to send someone else out to fix the original techncians' missteps.

Poor communication with technician, almost a month has passed and my refrigerator and dryer are still inoperable. Awaiting parts for the refrigerator, the technician will not come and fix the dryer because he only gets paid for one trip (direct quote from technician).

Would not take care of a problem that the contractor didn't finish correctly could not pass inspection American home shield would not honor me as a customer and go after the vendor after 20 years after 20 years of paying monthly dues I will never ever buy a policy from American home shield

Customer service is bad , can barely understand the customer service reps . They won't fix your problem till you say you want to cancel your service the. They finally transfer you to an employe in the US .

The companies that they have contracted to complete work are unreliable. I have been dealing with the same AC issue since July and it's still not fixed. No one from the contractor OR AHS gets back to me when I call or email. It's incredibly frustrating.
