I dislike it when they don’t approve to replace my old unit when it needs to replace I have to pay the difference and that not good plus I pay for the whole contract for one year. At first they were great years ago but when I returned with them they have gotten worse

I am overall no longer satistifed with American Home Shield services. I have been a customer for many years however it appears fewer and fewer items are covered by Amercian Home Shield. Currently looking into other home warranty options that cover more repairs. This company has become a waste of my money.

We have submitted four service requests. The service request on our hot water heater was denied even though it was covered per the contract. Our pool filter repair is complete. They are still troubleshooting our pool heater after a month. We have been waiting for 20 days to have one of our AC units repaired in the hot Texas heat!

It takes too long to get a HVAC contractor out to property and they then use every loophole too avoid paying. Don’t allow outside contractors when they don’t have a contractor quickly available in extreme heat.

I hate the $100 fee especially when the technician arrives only to tell you there’s nothing they can do. There should be the option to get your money back but I keep trying and have been told that it’s required regardless if the problem is not solved.

When I have to pay 6k out of pocket to get one part fixed on a 24 year old machine - this service sucks. You'll pay for the part but not the service to make sure the part actually works? Thanks for nothing. 6k is half the cost of replacing my entire hvac system.

My A/C hasn't worked properly for 3 months. The same technician has been sent and can get it up and running for 3-5 days and then it breaks. I hired a different company to do a diagnostic check of the system and there is no refrigerant, multiple broken components none of which the AHS contractor identified or addressed.
