Very frustrated we have been waiting to have a coil for our ac replaced since late April early May. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I shouldn’t have the hound any warranty company to finish a job that was started last year replacing the whole ac Unit

Poor customer service. My HVAC recently went out and I was told that it would be 5 days for someone to come out. The policy is 1-2 days. Very frustrating when you pay for Platinum service.

It took 5 days to get someone out there. They cut the sheet rock, fixed the leak yet never had someone fix the wall sheet rock after the repair. Still a big hole in the wall.

AHS insisted on sending a plumbing company that I have never been happy with!! Had a problem with a leak and it took about 3 weeks to get approved for another plumbing company to fix our problem! AHS never answered the plumbing company I got to fix our problem so now they won’t pay what I paid the plumbing company!

It took 83 days to get a pool heater replaced. I had 2 different opinions by 2 different contractors. The first a contractor send by AHS after weeks of waiting for it to be assigned. Then my own contractor after I had been given outside authorization. Then I waited weeks for AHS to get a third opinion which ironically is the same as the other two.

This company is pathetic. I feel they should refund every single cent I've paid them. I filed my first and only claim with them on 6/5. As of 7/30, they still haven't gotten someone to fix my roof. On 6/11, they sent me a satisfaction survey for the work that still hasn't been done.

I’m having a real challenge here with a fraudulent report by a vendor. I don’t know if AHS is also involved in the fraudulent claim denial, at first, and now reversed, or if they simply sided with the fraudulent service provider against me, causing damage to my home. Neither is a great scenario.

If could give zero stars I would. The contractors this company assigned are the worst. It has taken 4 months to get my washer fixed. Nothing but a scam I have spent hundreds getting my families clothes cleaned because I can't do it at my own home. Don't waste your money on this company.

After paying $85 to start process, my claim of pink insulation coming out of my ac/heating system was rejected because the fine print said not responsible if caused by pets or pests! And they determined it was mice! Please tell me who has mice that they don't even know are in the attic under their control!

A home warranty is good but not with American Home Shield. I pay $94 a month, $125 for each request. I have had to pay the repairmen out of my pocket but do not get my 125 back. It’s a rip off and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Keep your money in your pocket or find another home warranty.

Listen to your customers. The shady contractor that comes and does the diagnosis doesn’t even to any tests to see if the system is functions or not and why it may not be. Just looks at it and says they won’t approve it - her is a private quote for us to come do the work. Then I had to fight to get a second diagnosis.
