I was very impressed with the quick dispatch of a very replicable company to service my appliance issues. I read their reviews and they were 4 stars. AHS does not take short cuts by working with Service companies with poor ratings.. I’m very pleased with them, I will most definitely renew my contract with them.

My washer stopped working and after the technician came out informed me that it was not repairable. The technician notified you of this and your Appliance Repair Department took over and did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of the problem. I now have a new washer in place and have it paid for. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We bought a house that included this home warranty. So glad! The first year both outside & inside A/C broke. Took about 3 weeks to diagnose & repair each one. We just used a window unit both times until it was repaired. Washing machine broke & it took 3 weeks also. Even with the 3 week wait, it saved us a lot of money. Just wish they could do repairs faster. We renewed after the first year.

The manager of the authorizations department was kind and very helpful. One of the customer service reps of the department was not, and pretty much told us there was nothing else we could do. Once we spoke with the manager, she guided us through the whole process. Very grateful for her.

We had this service when we bought our present house and it was awesome. We got the service with the house and it covered several items at the homeowner neglected. We think it’s a great selling item to go with your house or if you own a house great item to have as a back up. We got a new water heater, repairs to plumbing and stove and other appliances.

I was turned on to insurance for your home from a buddy and he proposed AHS. I read over their policies and signed up. About a year went by and the micro wave went out. They sent out a repairman; $75 charge and he could not fix so they replaced same make and model. I was hooked after that and also they offer parts for appliances at a cheaper cost thru their network.

My wife and I used American home shield some years ago. We purchased the policy as a function of a home purchase, with no real intention of using it. However, within the first few months of owning the house, we needed to use it for several items. We paid our deductibles and helpful technicians were sent for the various issues, and they were solved. We would do business with them again.

When we brought our very first home, I had no clue that home warranty was as important as it is for homeowners. We were recommended American Home Warranty by my uncle, very costly, however if you factor in the cost of ware and tare of a home without a warranty it will definitely pay for itself. We looked at this like an investment of sorts. I advise anyone that owns a home to check out this company, they will walk you through every step of the way.

I subscribed to American Home Shield almost one year ago. I filed 4 claims with AHS, and they responded quickly. I thought they might reject them because I was a fairly new subscriber, but they quickly took the information and within a couple of days, appropriate contractors called to schedule the appointments. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I applaud AHS for their commitment and integrity in honoring their policies.

Within a year of owning my home the dishwasher started leaking, and thankfully we had American Home Shield to fall back on. After contacting them, they help with selecting a company to visit my house to look at the dishwasher and determine the leak source. Within a few days they had everything done, for a small out of pocket expense. The entire process was much easier than I would have expected.

I purchased a Home Warranty when I put my home up for sale. The Realtor suggested this as an incentive to the prospective buyer (s) as peace of mind to help the sale go through. Before I actually sold my house I had an occasion to use this warranty to get my outdoor AC unit replaced which for a small deductible ended up incresing the sale price as a positive feature. I feel anyone either selling or buyers who did not receive a home warranty check put American Home Shie;d.

We've had AHS with our first home and when we moved, we were going to get it again but the homeowner included it in the sale. We've always had great success with claims and getting service done. It's also paid off. We've had our air conditioner, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, garage door opener all replaced when parts couldn't be found or it was cheaper to replace than repair. We're very happy with AHS and recommend it to all our friends.

I bought a new home a few years back and as part of the sale negotiated a Home Warranty for 1 year. I am so glad I did! 2 appliances went out (stove and refrigerator) and when I called American Home Shield I thought I would get the run around but they were incredibly responsive and helpful. 1 appliance was fixed with 3-4 days and the other was a total replacement. A huge benefit to owning a home and highly recommended!

American Home Shield was so easy to work with, and I'm sincerely impressed in their company. They took the time to explained details and differences in warranty coverage verses insurance coverage. They allowed me to ask questions and answered them without a judgement or a pushy attitude. When a claim was needed they work quickly to diagnosis our problem and formulated a plan to fix it fast. They had great communication to keep us posted during the whole process. Highly recommend.

Also , the vendors are always top reviewed experts when you google their service. They have replaced or repaired multiple appliances for me and it has always been easy and affordable. When a repair couldnt be completed they replaced my washing machine with an upgraded version and then I bought the matching dryer machine thru them at a discounted rate. Very happy with the CS and value and most of all the competence of the companies the send when I have a claim.

I've had American Home Shield for many years now. I love them. Never had a problem with them If something goes wrong I can either call them or go on their web page and open a ticket. They call right away. Let me know who they are sending to fix my problem. They do a follow up to make sure they showed up and there was no. problems. They take their payment out if my account each month and when I need service they take service call out. Very convenient and easy to work with. Very pleased with them as a Home Warranty Company. Highly recommend them. Great to work with.

WHen we first purchased our home, it included a 1 year home warranty. Given it was an older home, we felt more comfortable w/our purchase because of having it. Later that summer, it sure came in handy, as our A/C went out in Arizona. AHS was great to work with & got someone out w/in a few hours & we were quickly back in our cool house. At the end of that year, we opted to extend our home warranty & it’s definitely helped on multiple occasions.

We bought an American Home Shield home warranty with last two houses we've bought. In the first house, our problems were minor, just an appliance here or there that were broken and repaired. But in our last house, we had an American Home Shield warranty and had to have two air conditioning units replaced. They were old units, and we knew that when we bought the house, but we didn't think they'd need replaced in the first year! Until that first summer. We live in Arizona, so when an air conditioner goes out--it's URGENT. American Home Shield was great to work with and got us a repair specialist out quickly. When it was determined that the units needed to be replaced, they took care of everything, and we only had to pay a small fee. Best warranty purchase ever. You never think you need a warranty--until you do! American Home Shield was amazing to work with.

This service is a scam. I just went online to see what a new service costs. For my level it came up with $95. I am paying $140 for the same service after 4 years. What happened to seniority. Customers of long standing pay 40% more than a new customer? And if that is an introductory price, what now spell it out. In August I was increased from $103 to $140. I was told that is inflation and cost of service. The service was used only sporadically. Adequate at best. Bait and switch is what I would call this.

Listen to your customers. The shady contractor that comes and does the diagnosis doesn’t even to any tests to see if the system is functions or not and why it may not be. Just looks at it and says they won’t approve it - her is a private quote for us to come do the work. Then I had to fight to get a second diagnosis.
