I was accused of abusing my washing machine and denied my claim. The washing machine is over 8 years and I don't agree with the their denial. I have asked for the report of the denial over couple days ago and have not received the report. I would not recommend this company.

The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my 40 years on this planet. I wouldn't recommend AHS to any friends or family. I've had issues with them not honoring my warranty policy/agreement on multiple occasions.

The plumber had none of the parts to fix the issue. Then, after a second opinion, I found out that none of the parts needed to be replaced at all. Everything was flushed out and worked fine. So the plumber simply chose to be lazy and do no work when he showed up, causing me to be out of $75 for no reason.

I was charged a fee for a company to come and repair my garage door which came off the track and the technician did not even go in the garage. He took one look at the door and said that it was not covered and he left. I was charged $125 for less than two minutes. Ridiculous. I will not be renewing this contract.

American Home Shield did not repair my appliance like they state in their contract. In fact, they denied my claim based upon a refrigerator door gasket which had nothing to do with my original claim of my refrigerator not cooling to a correct temperature.

They collect payments from customers, when the customers have a service call. They say that the issue is existing . They file false reports on the service tech that they sent out. No where in the report that the problem is existing

This is the absolute worst company ever! Customer service reps are terrible to deal with, as if they have a script to read from and don’t deviate from that script to address or even acknowledge your concerns. All they say is “mmhmm, upon checking….” The service technicians they have wrong for them is even worse.

No one informed me that my claim was denied. I had to call customer services and check status of My claim. Then I was not even offered options to have my A/C repaired. Makes no sense to have home warranty, if the warranty company is not going to make repairs.

Company that was sent out never fixed our fridge. They came multiple times over a four month period! We ended up buying a new fridge out of our own pocket after spending $100 copay with Sears (company that was supposed to repair the fridge). Don't waist money on this insurance. I'm out $1000 for a fridge, $100 to Sears, and $800+ for insurance!

AHS is not able to dispatch a qualified HVAC service to fix or condemn my through-the-wall heat pump. This 12000 BTU per hour unit is not cooling and when your assigned contractors call, they tell me they cannot work on through the wall units of this size. Please fix it some other way, probably by replacing it because it's old.

I have had a horrendous experience. One or more of your employees have been complicit in defrauding me by concluding without basis that I misused an appliance. Not only is there no evidence of that but there is affirmative evidence that employees made defamatory statements. I will be reporting this to appropriate authorities.

This feedback is with regard to service request that failed to be handled in manner needed. Customer had NO HOT WATER for almost 2 WEEKS. Customer pays for “Premium” policy and when requests for remedy and expedited service were made for health of our family the response was “sorry”. Unacceptable and completely dissatisfied.

My AC is not working since July and you guys did not fixed it. The compressor is not compressing properly and my house will never get under 80 degrees. Compressor is running all day none stop and you guys claim that everything is good. I am already working with BBB to hopefully solve this issue.

I had prior work done on my ac which was not fixed correctly. I was charged $1000 then. Now in order to get it fixed correctly it costing me another $1000. The new contractor has done an excellent job. However the prior contractor bached the job. Very disappointed in ahs for because the contractors they use are medoker at the best.

Lack of integrity and communication. Would rather pay for my appliances than ever have to deal with them again. They broke my fridge trying to fix the ice machine and it took over 2 months to get a replacement. The debacle and headaches that happened in that two months is not worth any "warranty" they offer.

The service providers are not all consistently professional. My air conditioning company lied on necessary replacement costs , misdiagnosed and p When I asked for a second diagnosis, I was told no. I had to pay out of pocket for repairs from an outside company I called, but they fixed it cheaper than service company said.
