I am not pleased to know that another company would have better coverage and charge less amount then I pay with American Home Shield. I feel like every time you guys come out you guys tell me that you cannot fix it but it ways has to be replaced. I feel like I am paying for a service that cannot help me. .

Generally long waits for appointments. Most repair people do their job poorly. Takes 6 months to get a broken dishwasher or air conditioning system replaced when their techs can't figure out how to fix it. Zero interest in doing anything quickly or convenient for the home owner.

Repair person left house with natural gas leaking in house after repairing dryer! Could have been disaster. I reported this to American Home Shield and they said they could not refund my service fee because I did not follow procedure. When I came home and discovered my house filled with gas, instead of opening all windows and doors, cut off the gas and replaced the kinked gas line, I was to call American Home Shield and schedule a repairman to come out the next day.

I feel like AHS does everything not to replace anything. I've had problems with old hearing and air conditioning units and instead of replacing it's always a quick fix only to experience the same issues 1-2 years later.

My claim was denied even though I was able to provide proof that a leak under my sink was not long term but accidental by two Remediator contractors. It's been a month and no help. Still waiting for a reply from a manager. Case has been escalated. Aweful worst customer service ever

There are better Home Warranties out there. They firstly does not cover the roof and they send out people who are low rated on yelp. They come fix tighten something and leave which then you have to call the technician out again. Also they only allow one technician per charge of $75. We have multiple issues in different areas which were requested at one time but had to pay $75 for each problem.

On time for setting up appointment and getting a good day/time. Work with me on my schedule. Repair person on time, called before arriving, and was very knowledgable on what was wrong with washer. Had part in hand, repaired in 15 minutes. Tested unit - Perfect. Excellent experience.

We had a problem with our heating system. We contacted AHS and within minutes had a recommended repair company. The company was timely and expert and resolved our issue. I doubted whether AHS would really come through, but they did! I would highly recommend getting AHS for any home purchase!

I am not happy over the results for Garages. They keep charging me $100 for a service fee. They keep sending the same contractor who disgnosis it incorrectly he first time they came out; they refuse to fix or send someone different. The contract states if they can't repair, they would pay the value to purchase another. When we sign the contract we didn't expect any exceptions. Thier message is to repair for give you equal value for that item so you can purchase another for a lessor cost or compatible item. I am very displeased. They same contractor will report the same thing if they can't fix it,

We had a veryloud noise issue coming from the tankless water heater. The first plumbing company that AHS sent could not fix the issue because they did not work on that brand. AHS sent another plumbing company and their rep diagnosed the problem, fixed it and the water heater has been running quiet ever since.

I’m a customer of HSA, but I believe that it is a company collaboration with with AHS now. I did have a service call that I was very pleased with. As a customer for over 20 years I have only had one issue. It was a billing issue and it took 6 months to resolve. It was a long process but it was resolved.

My experience with this company has been better than I had with a couple of other companies providing similar services. AHS has a good system and provide their customers with a good value for their money. They also are polite and i did not find any discrimination which i can easily tell when its occurring even if it is subtle. The best thing i like about AHS is that they give their customers cash out options or upgrade options on the appliances that are being changed. Some other companies do not allow this which sucks.

I’ve used AHS for several years and I have mixed feelings about their service. If you have a service need during the week it’s not bad(4.5/5) but if you need time sensitive services e.g. A/C not working on the weekend, then it’s definitely poor. Seems they do not have a lot of providers to chose from and things don’t just break mon-fri. Even when they give you authorization to find your own provider, there’s no one on the weekend to authorize said provider, so offering that option is pointless. Also, different customer service staff tell you different things; so I’m not sure how knowledgeable they really are. Almost seems like they’re reading from a trouble shooting script. All in all, I’ve never really been denied service hence the 3/5 stars.

I was able to schedule a claim after hours. Immediately got feed back via the portal that a appointment will be scheduled. It showed me who the company would be and an estimated time as to when they should be reaching out to confirm a time. The portal was easy to use and the company that did the work was great.

The people that answer the phones are very nice however they really don't ever know what's going on, noone follows up and they all say they will. Nothing gets documented and it's like going in circles every phone call. Nestor from Pro Price is fraudulent and will do whatever he can to get you denied. The 1st time he was at my home He stated I was missing caps when I was not. He did nothing and left. 2nd visit again no tools no diagnosis and left. 3rd visit i actually caught him taking the caps off and taking a picture with them off then putting them back on. Then leaving again doing nothing to diagnosis my unit. He then came up with an estimate and diagnosis of whats wrong with my unit without ever looking at my unit. With outrageous out if pocket uncovered fees. He never opened my unit, never had a tool in his hand!! How does he know whats wrong with it?? Why would I pay over $1000 to this company??! He is fraudulent and this company did not care. Please get rid of Pro Price Heating and cooling! How can I trust someone like that to fix my unit? This whole ordain took 2 months and still my unit is not fixed.
