I've been ignored by Supervisors that say they've called and hadn't. I had to wait an hour plus on hold for service. Getting the run around being told that my issue was pre-existing when it clear was not. But it's your word against the Technian. My second opinion the technician stated it was compressor. I stood right by him as he checked my system and he NEVER once stated anything about pre-existing to me or in the paperwork. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED

Wish I could give it lower. We have been with this company American Home Shield for over twenty years. This last one is the one that Broke the Camels Back. This is the worst company I've evar delt with The contract comes to the house first statment is we have to charge you for four pounds of gas OK i've got my own gas Oh no we cant use that gotta use ours $100.00 a pound Got another contracter So now I have been waiting for my Four hundred dollar check for six weeks Customer service is the worst all script readers Stay away as far as you can

Need my AC fixed and had 2 different contractors come, today called to follow up and waited over an hour with second csr saying I would receive a call back from authorization dept right away. NO CALL BACK! Home shield's offshore service dept is arocious and communication is terrible, if you work at Home Shield and are reading this call me for a resolve ASAP.

I have several bad experiences with low quality companies AHS dispatches to your home. Some of their warranty contractors are not prepared to fix issues quickly and communication with AHS is very difficult.

I have tried calling to see if my insurance is covered but keep being told the company that is supposed to report my issue has not done it. I called the individual who came to my house and he said he submitted the paperwork twice into your system. I have not heard anything from you guys. Seems like you took my 100 dollars and did nothing after that.

I've been very disappointed in AHS, overall. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of, and while the process for requestiong service looks easy, it is actually very difficult to get competent answers to questions. The policy with AHS was written into the contract when we purcahsed this home, but I no longer have the time or patience to use their "services".

Poor customer service. They use sub-par contractors that rarely show up for appointments and/or don't answer phone calls. Several contractors are lacking the knowledge to fix problems. Also calling in to customer service with a problem I am usually wait to talk to a representative 30-60 minutes.

Ac broke and they sent a company over that said home shield will pay for the compressor and labor but I still had to pay a thousand. Basically trying to recoup money. I asked for a buyout and was told I would hear back within 24 hours it’s been 6 days . I called and they stated they are behind . Meantime it’s 95 plus humidity in Texas and still no AC.
