Even though the last experience we had with a contractor was satisfactory, we have not had the best experience with the contractors sent to our home. We have also had to wait for long periods of time for problems to be solved with little help from American Home Shield.

Not very happy with service, had 2 hvac systems out in 5 years ago come to find out they weren't wired correctly which cost me 4 service calls to finally get someone to fix the wiring. I shouldn't of had to pay $500 to service new u it's if they were installed correctly the first time. Still waiting for the a rep to call me to come make sure the other system is instead correctly because they are the same and the wiring is different. Hvac man said he couldn't check it cause the ticket was just for one.

AHS charges me $85/month and $75 for each service fee. On top of that I end up paying to the technicians that come to.my house for repair. I call AHS and they assure me the payment will be reimbursed to me but it is not. I get tored of paying more money than I'm supposed to for repairs. I don't need AHS to hire a repair guy. I can do it on my own. That way I will have things fixed for less.

2nd time that I've put in an emergency request to get the run around by 4 different reps all telling me a different story and not getting a contractor out to me. The 2nd one didn't even put the notes on my account so she lied completely the 4th was rude and refused to help but told me to wait for 48hrs when our house has NO RUNNING WATER. Absolutely horrible company since it was bought out. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!

It is very difficult to speak with them personally to set up service calls. Also, the company they provided, national factory service, has been completely unreliable, and after almost a month with many interruptions, our refrigerator is still not working.

We've had two properties for many years under their product. This year our Air codisinging went out and they wouldn't do shit. Even after two technicians told us that we should be covered, they did nothing. I am cancelling two polices that we had on our primary home and vacation home. Been with them for a decade or more. It took them over 6 weeks to repair my air conditioner in the middle of summer, because the diagnosis team would not conclude I needed a new air conditioner. Also no one I spoked to on the phone when I complained could improve my situation. I made many calls and it was incredibly frustrating. Sometimes I was on hold for over and hour and then my call was dropped. On more then one occasion the customer service representative had a difficult time communicating with me. They were resistant to me speaking to a supervisor. The vendors , however, do nice work.
