I had 2 issues with plumbing. One was a leak behind a wall. The other one was a stoppage in a sewage line. They would not send anyone else out to see if they could unclog the stoppage. The plumber claim it was a foreign object causing the stoppage. I asked for a supervisor didn't get one. Still waiting on the call back from a supervisor, that been over 4 days now.

1 service from their vendor, plumber wants to charge extra for water heater install and American home shield says that what vendor charges is between me and vendor. What a nonsense ! Vendor lumber wants to cut ceiling to open blocked drain! Nothing is done properly or timely !no bathroom to take shower because this lousy vendor !American home shield collects $100 upfront and no servics! I got regular plumber and paid him to get drain unclogged ! Totally useless warranty company ! Infact not useless Harmful and waste of time and money and aggravation

Mixed Review! One job was great and one totally unsatisfactory. Because I have not been able to get them to repair or replace my gas dryer which Sears says cannot be fixed. I have tried to get this resolved since December 10th. I have called and talked to reps 5 or 6 times and they never contact me. They tell me a supervisor will call and they never call. HELP! PLEASE CALL ME. I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ANYONE A BAD RATING, BUT SOMEONE NEEDS TO CONTACT ME.

They rarely resolve my issue without significant expense. The replacement value is never accurate. The hold time for calls is extreme. There is no way to complain or ask for a different contractor without paying an additional service call fee. The work is only guaranteed for 30 days. If there is a problem on day 31, you have to pay another service fee. Once my contract term is up, I will be cancelling and finding a different home warranty company.

They sent out a plumber who didntb finish the job then i just to pay again for them to send another plumbing company to come out and finish the job. I closed my account because it cost me $250 to do a very small job that i could've paid a local plumber $50 to fix

We had to live without heat for a week with my wife being a 67 yo just sent home from the hospital after major surgery, because they would not get a simple part locally. It seems to have to come from their warehouse somewhere. The Tech and phone people were very nice but do not expect rapid fixing of your problems

Not very happy with service, had 2 hvac systems out in 5 years ago come to find out they weren't wired correctly which cost me 4 service calls to finally get someone to fix the wiring. I shouldn't of had to pay $500 to service new u it's if they were installed correctly the first time. Still waiting for the a rep to call me to come make sure the other system is instead correctly because they are the same and the wiring is different. Hvac man said he couldn't check it cause the ticket was just for one.

AHS charges me $85/month and $75 for each service fee. On top of that I end up paying to the technicians that come to.my house for repair. I call AHS and they assure me the payment will be reimbursed to me but it is not. I get tored of paying more money than I'm supposed to for repairs. I don't need AHS to hire a repair guy. I can do it on my own. That way I will have things fixed for less.

I asked to speak with a manager, was told there was not a manager I could speak with. Never had my issue regarding, some simple smoke detectors resolved. I pay this company faithfully every month. This was a big disappointment. Considering how small the job was.

It is very difficult to speak with them personally to set up service calls. Also, the company they provided, national factory service, has been completely unreliable, and after almost a month with many interruptions, our refrigerator is still not working.

2nd time that I've put in an emergency request to get the run around by 4 different reps all telling me a different story and not getting a contractor out to me. The 2nd one didn't even put the notes on my account so she lied completely the 4th was rude and refused to help but told me to wait for 48hrs when our house has NO RUNNING WATER. Absolutely horrible company since it was bought out. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!
