I filed a claim in January to fix my washer and dryer! The guy came out and never did anything past that. I have called NUMEROUS times and no one has fixed my washer or dryer or ever called me back after the "escalated" the call. Which has been three different times supposedly. I want my 100 dollar copay back as nothing was ever fixed and I ended up having to buy a new washer myself anyway.

When you call American home shield you staying in line to talk with a representative for almost an hour after it’s very hard to communicate with them because they don’t speak English American home shield work with different people from different countries And their English is very poor!!!

The people are kind and respectful. The frustration if waiting for decisions and the out of pocket cost for home repairs hardly make it worth the trouble. Even for big ticket items, we wait for weeks while they decide if AHS should uphold its responsibility to compensate us for the repairs

I became very frustrated with the automatic service scheduling. I didn’t find confidence with one of the venders that automatically was chosen every time a rescheduling attempt was needed. It wasn’t clear that when I schedule my own time I could then schedule with another vender. Customer error navigating the website was my experience. Maybe a list of preferred venders can show up when rescheduling must be done automatically.

Unless they can find an excuse to outright deny a service request, AHS will barely honor the letter of their “coverage”. If a service provider finds something in the course of a repair not already mentioned in the service request, AHS prohibits them from doing anything about it, leading to further service calls, wait time, potential damage, etc.

My air conditioning has been broken for 5 days and they finally came today to look at it. They said they needed to order a part but since it has to be approved by American Home Shield it will be next week before it is repaired. If I had paid out of pocket it could have been fixed today because they could have gone right then and gotten the part without the paperwork and approvals.

I have had issues with my central air and the people they send out are not fixing the problem. The last contractor (Seabreeze) does not answer the phone and does not call for days. They left me with no air for a week with temperatures being over 100. I called American hone shields customer service and they did nothing to get the air fixed sooner.

I used to love AHS never had a problem my problems were always solved on time. Then my fridge broke and we got assigned to The Good Guys who are terrible and it's been 2 weeks and my fridge is still broken. I called AHS multiple times before they failed to get my appliances fixed within 48 hrs as per your guidelines and they just gave me the run around and couldn't re assign my ticket to another local contractor that could come put here sooner to fix my fridge. Very disappointed might cancel and switch to someone that listens to their customers.

AHS denied my HVAC leak because their contractor said they don't have enough access to the attic for repairs. After I proofed complete access is available, AHS said they will send a second opinion. The second time around they said claim is denied because it's not maintenance related. I asked for the contractor assessment and they would not provide. I called the contractor and they would not provide either referring me back to AHS.

I have had AHS for over 15 years and this is the first time it has taken so long to get the problem resolved. I opened the service request on June 26 for my fridge and as of August 4th I still don't have a working fridge. it took over 23 days for them to admit mine couldn't be fixed and the rest of time to get a replacement ordered and was supposed to have it delivered 2 days ago, but that didn't workout and now I have to wait another week to maybe have it delivered. Really upset and unhappy with you right now,

The plumbing company that AHS sent wouldn't listen to the problem, were at the house less than 5 minutes and said they would return later. Called them the next day and his reply "we are at lunch and don't have time today". Never heard back and AHS said they would have to charge me another $100 dollar deductible to send a reputable company out.

Too hard to place a claim. Terrible,horrible automated system then you get a person that does not understand or speak clear English. Contractors are unprofessional. The last one at my home only knew 3 words of English and had his mask below his nose. Your company is very poor on customer service and it feels like they don't appreciate their customers

I would give 0 stars if I could. They are a fraudulent company that claims one thing and then will refuse you service. All the while, they'll charge you as they go. Second, everything I called to get help, there was a HUGE language barrier between me and their representative. Third, when I tried to submit a claim, they kept trying to tell me that I was someone else when I explained that I NEVER had a policy with them. Honestly disgusted and sick of this company.
