I'm disappointed, I had my dishwasher serviced 4 times for the same problem. The dishwasher needs to be replaced and it cost $100 every time to have a technician fixed the dishwasher and home shield is refusing to replace it. The money I spent every month plus 4 technician service I could have bought a new dishwasher.

I recently had my refrigerator go out and it took them over four week to send someone out that was qualified to replace the failed compressor. Also I had to talk to support rep several time to find a quantified technician to fix the problem. I been a customer for years and the customer support personal is horrible. I sent most of the time on hold and for some reason every-time I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told on one was available. Absolute horrible experience with the recent service request.

Very concerned if I have a program that is of any value. I was under the impression that my pool equipment was covered. It was not. The person I talked to put me on hold, when I ask to talk to a supervisor. He ask me why I want to talk to a supervisor. He left me on whole and never came back. Now I am not sure what you really cover. Do I have to look at the small print or get a lawyer to look at the Policy.

Always given a different phone number to return calls, IF I get a return call from an agent. Have only been able to talk to the same agent ONCE. Contract says I will get charged the deductible untill the contractor actually shows up BUT I am about to dispute a charge because the contractor did not show and I have already been charged.

After this AC situation, we will not be renewing our home warranty. The way they handle contractors and customer issues are just not acceptable. I put in our AC work order mid September, it is now Sep 28 and still no new contract assigned. Still no diagnosis! They said 24-48 hours to hear back for a new contractor after since the first one just stopped communicating after the initial visit. It's been well over a week! Still no update and we live in HI. We need our AC or our money back!

I had to get it fixed myself. The plumber said something is stuck in toliet and its not covered. I called a friend he has plumbing experience. He snaked the cleanout and toilet is working fine. The plumbing company that came wouldn't even look at anything. He toliet augered the toliet and said "I think something is stuck, this isnt covered Im done." There was nothing stuck in toliet. He wouldn't even look at clean out. What good is a plumber if he guesses. He wouldn't even fix and charge if it was my fault. He said it needed to be dealt with AHS.

Terrible. It takes forever to get them to arrange for work to be completed, forever for them to approve work once contractors show up, and you get hit with fee after fee. Oh, and after cancelling my contract weeks ago, I just got billed again. I called in and the individual told me that even though I called and cancelled with American Home Shield, that someone has to call me back from AHS to complete the cancellation.

It was easy to file a claim. From there, the appointments were made with professionals and the problems were resolved in a timely manner.

I had an electrical issue and they sent a tech out, he stated in the report to AHS that the breaker box needed to be replaced and he could not do the job. When I called I was told it was not covered under my plan.
