We have had a horrible experience. They claim to have never received the technician's diagnosis for our dishwasher. I have called AHS at least 6 times in the last several weeks to follow up. They always say our claim has been forwarded to the supervisor or manager who is supposed to call me back within 24-48 hours but each time no one ever calls me back. My next call will be to my lawyer.

My washer needs a valve replaced to work properly, I've called several times to have a cash out done to have a plumber that I've chosen repair the washer value since the the one AHS assigned was capable of repair it on a timely basis, I keep calling calling AHS just to get a cash out and keep getting excuses as to why the cash out can't be done, I just want my washer repaired since its been almost three weeks.

I placed a service call that my ac/heat system was completely not working on a Friday night. A tech wasn't available until the following Wed despite asking AHS to expedite request. No ac for 12 days in June in the South. Within a week, had same issue reemerge. Again, it was almost 2 weeks before it was resolved. While I completely understand ordering parts might take several days, I see no reason the initial call couldn't have been transferred to another vendor who could respond in a more timely manner. I live in a large city, there is more than one heating/cooling repair company.

My a/c wasn't working so paid for service call. Met with technician who was very nice and informative. He said I would be contacted with repair information. Heard nothing from Home Shield. I called after couple of weeks and representative said part on order and they would contact me when arrived to arrange for repair technician to come. Have heard nothing. It's been three weeks.

The vendor called stating their tech was hurt and they were delayed by a few days and AHS could not provide another vendor to replace them until possibly a week later ?!?! Not having a working AC in Florida in August for over a week....unacceptable service.

Still have same problem. Called company out 2 times they fixed part of problems each time. It's 4am air is on but a boom then followed by rattling in the vents all the way til it turns off. I have called home shield 2 times and they have sent out a tech but they come and only fix half the problems each time

It could not have been worse- Nearly a month without Central Air, with two separate part replacements that did not work by one firm, who was replaced by another who determined the AC motor (29 years old) needed to be replaced, but of course wouldnt be covered, because of damage by wildlife ( old stuff seen) despite the fact that my wildlife protection policy has been in effect for the past ten years, and a receipt for this years inspection was provided within the past two weeks

Poor experience. My A/C was set to be replaced through AHS. The unit to be installed was still going to cost me a good amount of money for a low-quality unit. I opted for a cash-out option in order to get a better unit and the cash-out was just as bad. Still waiting for an email to accept the cash-out offer. The A/C company that was initially going to install the unit informed me that I accepted a cash-out offer yet I have heard nothing from AHS.

My A/C refuses to keep the house cool. During the last month when it was 90+, the AC wouldn’t work past 11am and the temperature would get into the 80s in my house. The assigned contractor said the system is technically not broken and AHS would cover a new unit.
