We have used American Home Shield for a number of years, and overall I would rate their customer service representatives as well trained, responsive and good. But the vendors AHS uses seem to be second-rate leaning to their-rate.

Plumbing company sent by AHS said there were several hundred dollars for repairs not covered by AHS warranty. The issue was a simple drain clean performed by another company. AHS would not reimburse me for the drain clean yet their plumbing company tried to rip me off. Beware..

4 TECHNICIANS and my furnace is still not working--they all said it was fixed-I watched them do nothing. I will not deal with the incompetent service people as I called the company I have dealt with for years to get their opinion. I would appreciate a refund of the 100 dollars I spend and the same for my daughter in law who bought the plan as a Christmas gift to me.

I have been trying to get my garage door opener fixed since 12/21/2021. Cactus overhead door company came out, inspected and said the opener needs to be replaced. That is the last I saw of them. I have made five phone calls to AHS trying to get my opener replaced and everytime I am told someone from the contractor relations department will call me but they never do. I'm sick of this run around and will never recommend AHS to anyone.

Terrible not able to get issue resolved after calling for weeks. They do not provide service after being a paid customer for several years. Their call service is outsourced to another country. Call reps. Do not know what is going on I get the same story over and over. They state the will expedite service and they never get back to me. Waste of money.

Not very good. I requested service in November. The person never showed up. You guys charged me $100. I have called 3 times and yet I have not been refunded. You have charged me $100 for the request to fix those exact same issue again but you won't refund me for the charge where the person never showed up. Very frustrating

I have been with this company for over fie years and I have used them at least three times. They do not have the best companies that they provide for service and you always have to request a different provider because the providers that they provide most of the time other customers have had issues with the provider.

Because of their terrible accounting practices. I called to cancel a job request, and there rep assured me that I would have my $100.00 deductible retured to me in 7 to ten business days. Well That didn't happen!!! So the next rep I spoke to reassured me in the sane manor, and again, I haven't received the deductible, as of this writing !!!!!
