I took AHS insurance because I have very expensive appliances at my home and I wanted to protect them. It has nothing but a disaster for me. They said that my ice maker is not covered. They are unable to find parts to fix the issue with my range. They have offered me $5590 reimbursement for $13000 range. All this discussion took 4 months and about 25 calls to their customer service.

When my A/C broke, they sent a guy that said "I don't know why they sent me because I don't know anything about this system", so he had no idea what the problem was. He ordered a part he thought was the problem. After waiting four weeks for the part and no A/C in the middle of the summer in Florida, we got tired of waiting and I easily found the part online

There was a pipe leak which turned out not to be covered, but my deductible of $100 was not refunded. I had asked for the plumber to call me before to make sure,but the message apparently wasn't relayed. I also spoke with a representative who explained the situation, but would try to intercede for me.

I called American shield twice to fix a leak that was coming from my bathroom wrong they came out 2 fix nothing I paid my $100 deductible and it and end up calling Bryan's plumbing it's funny to come out to fix the leak that I knew was coming from my bathroom drip bathroom dripping into my kitchen

It's a hassle trying to get service during an emergency. Each rep has completely opposite information, which makes the situation your facing even worse. To top it off they won't even replace nor fix the items on the warranty.

Warranty is completely misleading about coverage. Air Conditioning went out and it took 2 visits, 2 full weeks for part to be ordered, installed and then a 2nd opinion post work completion found a necessary part to prevent future problems was not included in coverage, repair or price. Therefore costing an additional $750 for another part and repair to prevent reoccurrence of exact same problem.

Customer service is in India and hard to understand. Local vendors have been just OK. Lots of exclusions in the policy...but that is not unique. Better than not having a home warranty I guess.

The company you contracted with to deliver and install my microwave is rated "F" on BBB and has one star ratings. Because they would not install my microwave on the 2nd attempt (no order) a new company has been assigned. It will be a month and a half by the time it is installed.

Slow. Difficult. None of the customer service representatives seem to live in America or have strong English skills. They are very difficult to work with and tell you things which are not accurate because they don't know how to say what they mean. They will confuse you.

Because if billing, I'm still waiting for credit from being doubled billed for a year. There were multiple accounts and I've only been credited for 3 months. There is another account that I'm due credit foe a year...yet to hear back from retention like I was promised. Very hard to get a human, hours long hold time, Representative refused to send me to USA so that I could understand, also refused to send me to a manager, also refused to let me speak to an escalation department stating that that department would call me back within two hours and I never heard back even within two days. There is no urgent line if something is extremely wrong. They do not take notes correctly on the phone so that the contractor can correctly work on all things listed . Not on the list? Can't do it creating another ticket for another hundred dollars.

I asked for AC repair. One guy came fixed it, next day it broke down again, same problem. Another guy came and reported to AHS that it is under manufacturers warranty so manufacturer should fix it. But manufacturer says that it can provide parts but they will not fix it. So basically, I have been paying for a service that is denying everything that I ask to be fixed in my home. It is a complete waste to have them.
