I had an issue with my dishwasher. AHS replaced the dishwasher but did not install it. I have had my dishwasher sitting in my kitchen floor for three weeks. I have called the people numerous times that AHS assigned to install it with no assistance. I called AHS to inform them and was told that I could find someone to install it myself and AHS would only pay $125 to assist me. I am deeply disappointed with my service.

We had a major leak in our crawl space, it took the plumber 4 visits to diagnose. When the repair was submitted to AHS- it was denied. I called to see why and was only told it wasn't covered. I had to wait 7-10 business days to get a letter that explained why. In the meantime the warranty I purchased to provide piece of mind and alleviate some of the costs associated with major repairs has left me footing the entire bill.

The electrical contractor they used was poor and didn't spot various issues that other independent electrician that I hired did spot. Coverage was denied even though plain language of the contract says that electrical system is covered. Had to pay out of pocket and was out $75 for the useless service call since the electrician the warranty sent out wasn't able to solve anything.

very poor service. lack of communication. was told by the first service tech that my appliances were old. Had to insist the he repair the drier. Then told he could not get parts for my LG refrigerator. I found the parts and have them now but cannot get the company to put them in... Guess I will have to do it or pay someone else to do it!!

The service professional that AHS dispatched missed their scheduled appointment. I tried calling the service professional but could get no one on the line. I then called AHS who could also not get a hold of them. Instead of just assigning a new service professional, they made me wait and claimed that they escalated the issue. It was clear that was not the case by the responses I received when I called back. I had to continue trying to call the service professional myself until I finally got an answer. They ended up being almost a week late from their originally scheduled appointment.

we have a significant plumbing issue. AHS has contracted to work with a plumber who will not amicably try to meet our scheduling needs, schedules appointments without informing us of times, comes to appointments where we have taken work off only to not have the tools to properly diagnose or fix the issue. After expressing these issues to multiple AHS representatives nothing has been done to resolve the matter. We currently cannot use our toilets or showers, going on day 4 of this issue.

When my water heater went out, it was going to take over a month to get some one out to fix/replace it. We could not wait that long and had to replace it ourselves. For small repairs, we've had qualified people come quickly and fix but we could have handled this ourselves for the same $$.

HVAC needed repair. As part of the repair I needed the refrigerant to be replaced. AMS only covers $10/lb, leaving me with a $1500 bill since the cost per pound is closer to $110/lb. The rest of the experience was relatively painless.

Because they send contractors out that just point there fingers away from themselves, more often when you have renters so you just end up hiring someone else to do the work. This is one of 4 policies I have with them but over runaround just an the contractors can make their service fee and disappear

My first claim nothing they could do about the repair. Would have cost me an additional 800.00. 2nd repair been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. No resolution. Not good for emergencies. Might as well save my money (50 a month) for any repairs

Cost structure is ridiculous! Pay for coverage and pay to request even if the services are small. Contractors don't always meet SLAs and no backups exist. Fixing confirmed AC issues results in contractors not supporting and an idk what's wrong answer.

I asked for someone to come look at a leak in my closet. They sent AC company. AC Company said I had to call plumber. Plumber came and said you have to call roofing company. I had to pay the $75 deductible even though there were zero services completed at my home. My first claim I got the runaround for nearly a year, then paid almost 500 out of pocket for a garage door opener repair. This company is highway robbery. The premiums continue to increase while services continue to be horrible.

I have 2 water leaks in my house. If I do not use the kitchen faucet then there's no leak. My issue is an ongoing main water leak. Technician from contracted Plumbers Inc came out last week and as of today he has not submitted his findings to AHS. I have contacted both AHS and Plumbers Inc multiple times regarding this matter with no answers. In the meantime I still have a water leak from my main. I am disappointed in the way this claim is being handled on all levels.

My Experience with the technician that came to my home was excellent! My experience with your call center that set up my appointment was extremely lacking. That person sent me up for the wrong work order. So far I've gotten 3 different conflicting calls regarding payment. The last caller was nasty!! I'm confused about payment. I'm thing about changing to another home warranty company.

Because it took 4 service calls to repair refrigerator and its ice maker, and it is still not freezing ice properly. Also, we waited on a part for the microwave repair that was ordered on March 4, was due 4/22, but did not arrive. We were then told that the part would be delivered on 5/31. I told the rep that was unsatifctory, and he said someone from AHS would be in touch with me within 24 - 48 hours. I waited beyond 48 hours to check the status, and was told that there were no notes on my account. Then I was told that the microwave would not be replaced. I cancelled on April 27.

I rate them this way because I had a water heater to out, and a plumber was sent, but the communication was off as far as if the water heater would be covered or not. According to both the plumber and AHS I was supposed to receive communication from both. Also called a couple of days later and an AHS customer service rep was supposed to follow up with me, but never received a call back. So now I'm paying out of pocket for the heater

Needed a part for my dishwasher, the Tech ordered it. Did not try to use the dishwasher until the next with a full load. The door will not close. I have no idea what the Tech did, but can not get any help getting someone out here to fix the problem that was fine until he done something to the door, which is bowing out at the bottom. I have been handwashing dishes for 2 weeks & will have to until Tech comes & puts the part in the soap dispenser in that was the problem he was sent out to fix, not screw up the door.
