The only issue I have is some home warranty companies pay for the freon fill if you lose it on your HVAC system and you only cover a small percentage of the fill if needed.

When my water heater went out, it was going to take over a month to get some one out to fix/replace it. We could not wait that long and had to replace it ourselves. For small repairs, we've had qualified people come quickly and fix but we could have handled this ourselves for the same $$.

While they are very friendly when you contact them, their inability to understand your unique situation is frustrating. The inability of not having one person assigned to your situation and being able to just work with that person directly is frustrating as well.

My first claim nothing they could do about the repair. Would have cost me an additional 800.00. 2nd repair been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. No resolution. Not good for emergencies. Might as well save my money (50 a month) for any repairs

Cost structure is ridiculous! Pay for coverage and pay to request even if the services are small. Contractors don't always meet SLAs and no backups exist. Fixing confirmed AC issues results in contractors not supporting and an idk what's wrong answer.

Because they send contractors out that just point there fingers away from themselves, more often when you have renters so you just end up hiring someone else to do the work. This is one of 4 policies I have with them but over runaround just an the contractors can make their service fee and disappear

HVAC needed repair. As part of the repair I needed the refrigerant to be replaced. AMS only covers $10/lb, leaving me with a $1500 bill since the cost per pound is closer to $110/lb. The rest of the experience was relatively painless.

It took them a WEEK to find a plumber to come look at my broken sump pump, then the plumber doesn't have an opening for 10 days! They don't return phone calls and when I talk to them, I can't understand them and they are overly salacious to me .DO YOUR JOB! It was a nightmare, I will be cancelling AHS and if I have structural or mold problems because of their own incompetence, my lawyer will be calling!!!

I rate them this way because I had a water heater to out, and a plumber was sent, but the communication was off as far as if the water heater would be covered or not. According to both the plumber and AHS I was supposed to receive communication from both. Also called a couple of days later and an AHS customer service rep was supposed to follow up with me, but never received a call back. So now I'm paying out of pocket for the heater

My Experience with the technician that came to my home was excellent! My experience with your call center that set up my appointment was extremely lacking. That person sent me up for the wrong work order. So far I've gotten 3 different conflicting calls regarding payment. The last caller was nasty!! I'm confused about payment. I'm thing about changing to another home warranty company.

I have 2 water leaks in my house. If I do not use the kitchen faucet then there's no leak. My issue is an ongoing main water leak. Technician from contracted Plumbers Inc came out last week and as of today he has not submitted his findings to AHS. I have contacted both AHS and Plumbers Inc multiple times regarding this matter with no answers. In the meantime I still have a water leak from my main. I am disappointed in the way this claim is being handled on all levels.

I asked for someone to come look at a leak in my closet. They sent AC company. AC Company said I had to call plumber. Plumber came and said you have to call roofing company. I had to pay the $75 deductible even though there were zero services completed at my home. My first claim I got the runaround for nearly a year, then paid almost 500 out of pocket for a garage door opener repair. This company is highway robbery. The premiums continue to increase while services continue to be horrible.

Needed a part for my dishwasher, the Tech ordered it. Did not try to use the dishwasher until the next with a full load. The door will not close. I have no idea what the Tech did, but can not get any help getting someone out here to fix the problem that was fine until he done something to the door, which is bowing out at the bottom. I have been handwashing dishes for 2 weeks & will have to until Tech comes & puts the part in the soap dispenser in that was the problem he was sent out to fix, not screw up the door.

Because it took 4 service calls to repair refrigerator and its ice maker, and it is still not freezing ice properly. Also, we waited on a part for the microwave repair that was ordered on March 4, was due 4/22, but did not arrive. We were then told that the part would be delivered on 5/31. I told the rep that was unsatifctory, and he said someone from AHS would be in touch with me within 24 - 48 hours. I waited beyond 48 hours to check the status, and was told that there were no notes on my account. Then I was told that the microwave would not be replaced. I cancelled on April 27.

I paid my a/c guy to diagnose what was wrong and he told me I needed to get a new coil system that cost about $2,800.00. I put an order in to AHS for their a/c guy to come to replace it and paid them $75 for the service call. He said the coils were fine but replaced a valve and told me I needed to refill it with coolant and that it would cost ME another $900! I called my a/c guy back to double check and it was a leak in the coils like he originally said so if I had paid your guy $900, the coolant would have just leaked out again.

Was on hold for 15 min and the rep pretended to no lt be able to hear me to just hang up the call . I have been with out my refrigerator working waiting for this appointment and her reply was we can make another one for a later date . The charge the service call fee even before the service is done. This company is the worst don't waste your time . Im going to cancel asap! I would not recommend this company to no one stay away

They need a new delivery company. I was called on April 12th that my washwr would be here on the 13th. They never called to say they weren't coming. My husband called them the next day and they said.they would be here on April 27th again they didn't show or call. Made sevwr calls to USP and never got a return call. Then May 4 they just showed up with it.

Too many times I got stuck with the bill. Don't cover modifications. You also keep increasing my bill. I started out at $34.99 a month a few years ago. Now you raised my bill again this year another $5 to $55.99 a month.

Took 3 weeks to replace dishwaher! Three companies involved, one to deliver, one to remove and dispose old washer, one to install new washer! When old washer removed, water lines left disconnected from Thursday to Monday! THREE DAYS NO WATER IN KITCHEN AND SINK FULL OF DIRTY DISHES!!! UNACCEPTABLE! Not to mention, I literally placed TWENTY phone calls in 4 days trying to resolve diswasher issue!
