My AC has been broken for 2 weeks and I cannot get anywhere with American Home Shield. When they finally assigned a contractor after 12 days, the contractor gave us a different diagnosis than they gave AHS and now won't call us back to correct it. I am no closer to resolving 2 weeks into me reporting it. I will not be renewing and will never recommend AHS.

The last claim we had with them, took over 9 months to complete. Along with many phones calls and insisting on talking to a manager. This claim is being delayed due to "verbiage" used by the contractor. And, we have to pay an additional fee

It is very irritating how they go up on my plan every year, when, for example, I only used my plan once last year... And they didn't go up a few dollars - AHS went up $50. AHS only cares about AHS - their customers are an afterthought.

The assigned contractor is not doing a complete and through job. They seem to be doing as less a possible, to evade around the issue. Just a quick check, or excuse, then leave with a half job or completely nothing done. Still not satisfied after contractor leaves.

VERY slow to respond to contractors when something is broken. Was without water in a bathroom for 2 months. Could not get anybody located in the United States to help in the least. It's like they wanted me to give up and pay for it all myself. I pay $6( a month and $125 per call and feel like I should get better customer service.

Have a water heater issue and AHS couldn't help me stated was warranty issue and I would have to call them to getting it resolved. At first an agent told my wife the work order been approved and they're sending some one out. A repairman came out looked at it and said they'll have to get an approval from the office and we'll be back to replace the heater. Never showed back and I call multiple times to them and no answer and also to AHS and several agents tell me it was an warranty issue and there's nothing they could do. So I paid $100 service call and didn't get any work done.

As an American Home Shield subscriber of seven years, I will *not* be renewing my own Subscription next month (July 2022) without my Air Conditioning in my home being fixed at zero out-of-pocket for my family and me. American Home Shield has been less-than-willing to discuss options against a Contractor's proposed services, and we've been without Air Conditioning in our home in Eastern Texas during this incredibly hot summer of 2022 for nearly four weeks at the point of my leaving this Review.

Contractor showed up and fixed the problem in a timely fashion in this case. However my hot water heater replacement in 2020 was horrible. A loophole in the wording of the contract resulted in a $500 charge that was bordering on criminal. AHS response to my complaint was totally unsatisfactory.

We put in a service request. The assigned contractor did not fix the issue and when they reassigned them to come out again they never reached out. AHS has refused to reassign a different contractor even though the original one has been unresponsive. It's been 3 weeks of us calling about our issue and it's still not resolved. We just keep getting told each time that they'll reach back out in 24 hrs and no one follows up. We've called at least 7-9 times and they've told us they'll reassign a contractor and still haven't. Meanwhile our issue is still not resolved.

My Air conditioner has been out of service since I called them on June 7th. This company that American Home Shield sent to my home stated that I was missing a Bypass. I spoke to someone at the manufacturer Lennox they informed me that that part would really freeze my AC up. And my AC was already freezing up. That let me know that the company AHS sent to my home. I am not satisfied with AHS services

I had heating and air checked I knew top floor air was not working Well the heating wasn't either so ONE APPT ONE Fantastic repairman co And I was charged $75 twice!!! And just had Covid Truly couldn't afford both $75 Not fair I've actually been in this house 23 years July 30 Had AHS entire time But when my husband died 9 years ago there was change of name etc Very unfair Again The repairman co was fantastic Kenneth buggay mechanical Great!

They didn't assist me with the problem. I clink a link on the email from American Home Shield requesting a/c service. Pro conect sent a tech out to assets the problem. American Home Shield said they will not cover the cost because Pro connect is not them. I gotten a variety correspondent that has American Home Shield name and logo on with Pro conect. I don't understand and can be confusing for consumers

I had a Electrical box that stopped working & it cost me $600 to get it repaired. Per my contract electrical problem are covered after paying the $100fee to have a person come out & replace the defective part. But AHS refused to cover any of the cost because they say it was part of another well pump failure. AHS is lying. I will post bad reviews for them on Yelp, Google, BBB, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Tick Tock & tell all my friends & I'm a member of 3 large organizations how dishonest AHS is. I have been a client with AHS over 20 years with 3 different homes.

While the people who did the actual work were very good, I am really disappointed in AHS. We have been using them for almost 30 years and the cost has dramatically increased and the level of support from AHS has dramatically reduced. We will not be renewing.

I had to contact American Home the middle of May, the contractor came and follow up work need to be done and it is the middle of June and the follow up work still has not been done. I did call American Home Warranty as required per the contractor and still have not heard from them regarding the follow up work, I am very disappointed.

The contract wasn't clear on repair of hose bibs. The contract Di not state that a hose bib that's attached to the inside of the house and goes comes through the interior wall to the outside isn't covered.

The worst company! Put in a smaller garbage disposal in then I had. Was sitting come today for washer. A no show. Air conditioner the saif 6 weeks to fix it charge me over 2,900.00 and a 2 month warranty. I checked to see how much they would give me and I will put a new one in. Said 8,300 for a 3 1/2 ton I got 4 ton for 8,000. And has 10 year warranty and life on compressor and coil. They offered me 1,746 but they had to supply parts and install but are supposed to give me money for work and parts. Do not go with these people

I spent 35 minutes on hold so I could speak to a custome service rep. I finally got through and got nothing resolved. While waiting for an answer as to why my bill went up by 22% last month, I was instead sent to a feedback on my call. Nothing has been answered. If I don't hear back from you I will cancel my contract and leave negative reviews on the internt.
