I have two open work orders that have been open for 3 months now they said they have ordered the parts. It shouldn't take over three months to get parts in. If so you should replace the next higher assembly.

Poor quality of contractors assigned the last year. Frustration with customer service as they are obviously trained to DENY EVERY CLAIM until you argue your point. I pay for this service. I have had AHS for several years and been satisfied until the last year. Not sure we will be continuing doing business with AHS.

I have had both good and bad experiences. The last plumber tha came had exorbitant prices. I had to find someone outside of American home shield. On the other hand, Sam's Garage Doors was great and very helpful.

The plumber called stating that if he found certain materials in the toilet, then American Home Shield wasn't going to cover these charges. I don't understand that if a toilet is stopped up, then it doesn't matter what caused the stoppage you should fix the problem?

I rate it low because whenever you make a claim it takes 3 to 5 days before a contractor comes. Then they diagnose the problem and you have to wait another week before it gets authorized to be fixed.

I called for a plumber and you guys gave me the run around! Also when I talked to customer service, I could not understand them. They were RUDE!! I asked to speak to an American and they were laughing at me in the background because I told them my toilet was plugged. Very unprofessional!! They said they could not find me a plumber. That I would have to find one on my own and that they would reimburse me! There are many plumbers close to where I live! I ended up paying for one out of my own pocket last week! Thanks for nothing!!!

TX Heating and AC was notified I had an AC problem. I was sent a date and time. This did not work for me. I txted 8 times and left 6 voice msg. They came out and I told te guy that I had nt talked to anyone as no one would answer. I called AHS and told them about the issue but they would not refund my $100. I am assuming that the company was a scam. I am refusing to pay as I did not have an opportunity to cancel with the vendor I want credit for the $100 on my Master card.

A large portion of my kitchen ceiling collapsed tonight and white insulation from the attic is all over every surface so that it is a disaster area. The fire department sent 5 men who went in the attic and said the problem was the air conditioning backup and the contractor that came in mid August from American Home Shield did not do the job properly and has caused this giant calamity.
